Transcript
00:06Different languages, different faces, people from around the world all converging at the
00:14Beijing International Auto Show.
00:16I'm a big fan of cars and this is the biggest motor show in the world, so I have to
00:21be here.
00:21And many are here for what's next.
00:23I'm overwhelmed with how many technologies there are and how many new concepts and innovative
00:32fields that are presented here.
00:35Beyond the buzz, a deeper transformation is underway.
00:40From intelligent driving systems to low-carbon technologies, innovation is accelerating at pace.
00:47Behind it all is a globally interconnected supply chain, working in concert.
00:52At a time when decoupling rhetoric dominates headlines, this auto show presents a contrasting narrative.
01:00International companies are not retreating, they are actively engaging.
01:05And China's scale and pace continue to underpin their confidence.
01:10Take value as an example.
01:12Last year, roughly 15% of its global revenue was generated from the China market.
01:18And the electric vehicles people drive every day, many are already equipped with its battery cooling technology.
01:25We believe the China market is very good opportunity for us.
01:30We see growth coming back in the second semester for us in China.
01:35And we have the opportunity to sell so many great technologies in China with our Chinese customers.
01:43Like 63% of our orders last year worked with Chinese OEMs.
01:47And we are here because we are super committed to China as the market.
01:52The figures speak for themselves, and this is far from an isolated case.
01:57From manufacturing floors to R&D hubs, global suppliers are steadily deepening their footprints in China.
02:04Aptip, for instance, has operated in China for more than 30 years.
02:10Its technologies spanning safety systems to intelligent vehicle platforms are widely integrated across the market.
02:17By 2025, all of the 20 best-selling models in China are equipped with its products.
02:24So we've always been here for the China market.
02:27Obviously, this is the largest market.
02:30It's the fastest growing from a technology standpoint.
02:33To be relevant, you need to continue to increasingly localize our engineering capabilities, our supply chains.
02:40And that's just something that we keep doing to be resilient and to be relevant in the market.
02:45As global players deepen their presence in China,
02:49Chinese innovation is simultaneously expanding onto the world stage,
02:54shifting from technology adopters to solution providers.
02:58Chinese smart driving companies are emerging as a new force within the industry.
03:05Q-Craft, shaped by China's complex and demanding road conditions,
03:10is now extending its reach into markets such as Europe and the Middle East.
03:16Many new technologies and products are first introduced and scaled in China,
03:21and that's also helped us grow very quickly.
03:23Going forward, we want to better connect China with the rest of the world,
03:27so that global consumers can benefit from more convenient and advanced solutions,
03:32and the whole industry can move forward together.
03:34At this auto show, the depth of an interconnected supply chain comes sharply into view.
03:40It also reveals a broader dynamic, a two-way flow of integration between China and the global automotive industry.
03:48It also reveals a broader dynamic, a two-way flow of integration between China and China and China.
