On Monday, April 27, 2026, a deadly train
coll!s!on occurred at Bekasi Timur Station, just east of Jakarta, Indonesia. A long-distance train, the Argo Bromo Anggrek, cr@shed into the rear car of a stopped commuter train that had halted after an earlier !nc!dent involving a taxi on the tracks. The rear car was designated for women only, and all 14 fatalities were women. A total of 84 people were !njured and taken to hospitals for treatment.
