00:00There is a war for the gold of which very little has been talked about and that has faced the
00:04Gulf, the ELN and dissentities in the south of Bolívar. In the last 40 years, the ELN has
00:10consolidated a strong presence in that region, but since the end of 2021, the Gulf
00:15began an expansion that has been so strong that the ELN and the 37 Frente del Estado Mayor Central
00:21left their enemies to unite and fight it. But what does this territory have for
00:26that the armed groups to fight it first? It is the third region that more gold produce in the country
00:33and the fourth with
00:34the most coalitions of coca. This area has a connection with the north-east and
00:40Bajo Cauca antioqueño, the Magdalena Medio Santandereano, the south of Cesar and Catatumbo, the cruce
00:47to the border with Venezuela. The question is what is the true intention of the clan in that
00:52country? In the region, it is talking about that it is not only the control of the
00:56routes, but of the own mines of gold. All this knows the government of Petro. In fact, in
01:01September of 2023, the region was declared a zone of crisis humanitarian in the
01:06dialogue with the ELN. However, in that region, it is still not aterriza the
01:11project of peace total. In the region, they aseguran that there is no
01:14seen any change and that there are several violences that are invisible. Reclutamiento of menores de edad,
