00:04I think that there is always going to be room for superheroes because I think they are such great
00:09characters and they make such great narrative and I think they can tell wonderful stories that
00:15explore who we are and that raise a mirror up to ourselves so I think there's a lot of potential
00:21and I hope in Madame Webb it's a new original way of telling that story. You directed some
00:26episodes for Jessica Jones, it's clear that you have experience developing superheroines. I would
00:32like to know what is the biggest challenge to develop superheroines? Oh I think every sort of
00:38thing I take on has its own challenges and without doubt for me the biggest one on this was probably
00:42the clairvoyance which also became its best virtue was like how do we tell that story well and exciting
00:49and imaginatively and thrilling you know which is why I sort of thought it would be a good
00:54psychological thriller but I think it's about making sure whatever you're making that the
00:59characters are strong that they have a great story and a great through line and a great back story
01:04and that they're throughout the movie they go on a journey they learn something
