02:21I first noticed the birds when I was coming home late at night,
02:25and I heard this little shudder up on the light post,
02:28and I realized there was a robin mother bird sitting on her nest,
02:31and I saw the three baby birds pop up.
02:34Being a big animal lover, I was very excited to have a baby bird's nest on her porch.
02:38I definitely said hi to them every day,
02:41and we kind of had this little agreement where I would walk right underneath her
02:44and nothing would happen.
02:45I avoided the front door at all costs, just not to spook them and cause flight.
02:51I was waiting for the day that they kind of just took off and left,
02:54and I knew that the nest would be empty,
02:56but I kind of, unfortunately, made their flight a little sooner
03:01than I think they expected as well.

03:14I think that what made this day different was having the letter in my hand.
03:18I did think that the wave was just an innocent gesture.
03:23But the flap of the envelope kind of maybe making a wing noise
03:26along the lines of maybe one of their predators
03:28got them all to jump out at the same time.
03:33Two of them jumped out into the yard,
03:35and one of them got stuck in between our storm door and our front door.
03:39I immediately panicked.
03:40I'm screaming from my soul
03:42because I'm terrified of what had just happened.
03:48I grabbed my daughter,
03:49and I opened the door to let out the baby bird,
03:52and now the mama bird hears it chirping, and it's frantic,
03:56and she's after me and my baby bird.

04:04and I called our local nursery,
04:06and they just kind of advised me,
04:08he should be just fine as long as he can hop still away with mama bird.

04:13to have the little baby bird jump out,
04:16and that's what he did.

04:19and guided him to the other two birds
04:21that were already across the street.
04:23I had noticed after a couple hours
04:26that they had taken up a new home
04:28in my neighbor's pine tree.

04:39to kind of make their home,
04:41and they said go ahead and take the nest down.
