00:00Kyle, we start with the unexpected series. I think that's the easiest way to put it.
00:05I did think Orlando would win more games than most people thought just because I watched them
00:10play all season long and beat my Miami Heat not once, not twice, not three times or four,
00:15but five straight times, and I thought this Magic team is probably better than what they
00:20showed all season, but I did not expect them to take a 3-1 series lead. I don't think the
00:25series
00:26is over, by the way, but the Magic have put themselves in a great spot just to need one
00:32win over the next three. Yeah, I mean, I'm with you here, and Orlando is a little bit more talented
00:38than what we've seen, but did you think 94 points was going to be winning games in the
00:42year 2026? Like, if you told me they'd be scoring 94 points, I'd say, where can I bet on Detroit?
00:47So that's, we're kind of where we thought we would be, I don't know, eight months ago when
00:53they made the move for Bain, and they signed him. They thought he'd be a big acquisition. Now
00:58he's got 15 made threes in four games, and he's giving them everything they thought they'd have
01:02all season. It just took four months to get there, but it's here now, and he's shooting with all kinds
01:06of confidence from the perimeter. His three-point percentage is 10 percentage points better than
01:10he's shooting inside the line. I don't think it's the most stable of ways to play, but he looks great,
01:16and Detroit looks messed right now. Aside from Cade Cunningham, he looks fine, but everybody else is
01:22struggling. They can't get anything going. 88 points at it. Should be a fun series ending,
01:27regardless, I think. I agree. Especially for Jamal Mosley, who had him run out of town at this
01:32point. I don't know how you can do that, barring them losing the next three games. All right, let's
01:36do this one quick and then get to the rest. The Suns were just no competition for Oklahoma City,
01:40and they're now going to get some nice rest here and just wait to see who they play next.
01:44SGA with 31 points, and yeah, I mean, look, they've been the best team in the NBA. They are still
01:50the
01:50best team in the NBA, and the worst thing that the rest of the teams can do is play these
01:54elongated
01:55series and give them more rest, but that's what's going on right now. Yeah, this is the best team in
01:59basketball. You said we could keep it quick, and we can. There's nothing I've learned here. SGA's
02:03great. Chet's great. Everybody on this team is great. We'll see with the health, with J-Dub, what that
02:08means moving forward, but for right now, they don't need them to be the best team in the NBA.
02:12All right, so now let's move on to Denver taking care of business against Minnesota, and we know
02:17Minnesota's going to be shorthanded here, so I assume Detroit's going to win probably. I'm sorry,
02:21Denver's probably going to win another one. Jokic just put the team on his back last night. 27 points,
02:2612 rebounds, 16 assists, so bottom line here, Kyle, is can Minnesota win with these injuries that they
02:34have, or are we just going to have to wait and see if they can at least get Edwards back
02:39here for
02:39the end, but it doesn't seem like it, right? They said two weeks or something? Yeah, it doesn't seem
02:43like Ant's going to be back, which means you have to run into one of these random Julius Randle All
02:47-NBA
02:48type of games, which personally, I've spent like a decade rooting against Randle, so I'm not sure
02:52that I'm confident it's going to happen. You only got to win one out of two, so there's certainly a
02:57path to do it, but I do favor the Nuggets to finish off this series, get another two games,
03:01and complete the comeback. Jokic, you mentioned how good he was last night, and he's the best player on
03:06planet Earth for my money, and that's kind of what we see. The 16 assists is what gets me going.
03:11He's going to score, he'll rebound, he'll do his thing, but Cam Johnson was a plus 24,
03:16made all six of his two-point shots. If he can open this up to a third option next to
03:21himself
03:21in Murray, this is a lot for Minnesota to handle with these injuries. If you told me Ant was going
03:28to play, I'd take them to win the series. He's not going to. Give me Denver. I said it last
03:33time
03:33we met, I'm not betting against the best player in the world. I'm not doing it. And he's playing like
03:37the best player in the world, too, and realizes that the question is, next round,
03:41will he have to exert everything just to get past this round? I don't think that Denver thought
03:44they would, but they're going to have to in order to win in seven.
