00:00But let's head up to the garden and take a look.
00:02The Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks tied 2-2 in their series.
00:06Pivotal, game number five.
00:08You take a look at the opening number.
00:10Minus 6.5 as a favorite towards the New York Knicks.
00:12Where does it sit this morning, Joe?
00:13Still 6.5 as a favorite for those New York Knicks.
00:17Low total, 2-13.5.
00:19Got to tell you, Joe, feels like the winner of this game.
00:21Probably going to take the series.
00:23What's the spread line here for Hawks-Knicks tonight?
00:26And this is the most it's been, Donnie, right?
00:286.5 is a big number here for a team that, listen,
00:33New York back against the wall down 2-1,
00:36finally played with some urgency last game.
00:39Will they bring that same intensity here?
00:41They've been better at home.
00:42And Atlanta doesn't have the same kind of experience that the Knicks do.
00:47So looks like they adjusted correctly.
00:49But now it is time for Schneider and company here and the Hawks to adjust.
00:54This feels like a big number.
00:56But the interesting part, Donnie, is I thought I'd wake up and see at least more money one
01:01way or the other.
01:02This thing has been frozen at 6.5 since it opened.
01:06So, so far, not a whole lot of movement one way or the other.
01:09But it would not shock me if more defense and less offense in this game, maybe the total
01:15might be the best way to look at this one.
01:17Joe, the Sixers have been clubbed twice in this short series so far by the Celtics by 30-plus
01:22points, the Philadelphia 76ers welcomed Joel Embiid back in a pivotal game number four
01:26at home.
01:27And they got smacked in the head.
01:29Now we go back to Boston, where Boston's probably going to close it out.
01:32However, Joe, what's the bet the Philadelphia 76ers in this game?
01:35Only getting about 20% of the ticket count here.
01:38This line, though, opened up at 11.5.
01:40Still sits at 11.5.
01:41And a total also low at 214.5.
01:44Sixers don't have a chance tonight.
01:46But, Joe, what's that spread line for you here?
01:50Listen, Donnie, they're not.
01:52If they play the way they did, welcoming Embiid back and forgetting that Maxie's on the court,
01:57you're not beating the Celtics with just Joel Embiid.
02:01You need everybody involved.
02:03The problem is that I got to go back to the garden here in Boston to be able to do
02:08this.
02:08I doubt very much they will, Donnie.
02:10And I also doubt very much that we're going to get to 214.5 points.
02:15I think defense is going to be the story here.
02:18I would look to fade maybe some team totals.
02:21I don't want to run to the window and lay 11.5.
02:23Ask OKC how that worked last night in a closeout spot.
02:27But I don't think we're getting a ton of points here tonight either.
02:32Nobody wants to bet the Philadelphia 76ers tonight, Joe.
02:37Could that be something for our number two?
02:38Let's follow that one away.
02:39Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs.
02:42The Spurs are at home tonight looking to do some final damage.
02:46Why?
02:46They're favored by 12.5 points here and also a total of 215.5.
02:50Two double-digit spreads tonight out of three games in the association.
02:54Embiid is healthy, back off to concussion, and ready to roll tonight.
02:57But the question, Joe, is can they roll by 13-plus points?
03:01What's the spread line here?
03:03We saw it open at 11.5.
03:05Now at 12, 12.5, Embiid is back.
03:08And listen, this is what, when the first two games were in San Antonio, this is what we
03:13were looking at to begin with.
03:14But everyone hopped on this Portland trendy dog bandwagon here like they were going to
03:20be able to go toe-to-toe.
03:21Outside of the game, Wemby almost knocked himself out on the court there and had to leave.
03:27Outside of that, this has not been a particularly close series, Donnie, in these games that they
03:32have played.
03:32So I don't expect it to be close here in this one either.
03:36I do think the, it's 11, 11.5, 12 or more for a reason.
03:42Something tells me, yes, San Antonio puts their foot down and gets it done in a big way.
