43:43My parents were both junior hockey coaches.
43:47And they were hit by a drunk driver when I was 12 years old.
43:52Mercifully for them, they died instantly.
43:56Mercifully for me,
43:58the St. Thomas Scholarships existed.
44:02I didn't have anybody else to help me.
44:06I had a lot of memories,
44:07a love of hockey,
44:09and a huge hole in my heart.
44:13St. Thomas filled it with hope.

44:24In hockey, I found what I was missing.
44:28First at my high school,
44:29then later at college,
44:30and now here with the Admirals.
