Jo Jo Gunne — So…Where's The Show? 1974 (USA, Hard Rock-AOR)

Immediately after the release of the album "Jumpin' The Gunne," Matthew Andes also left the band. At Ferguson's invitation, his place was taken by San Francisco guitarist Star Donaldson, who had previously recorded an album with the band Sawbuck for Fillmore Records. However, he only stayed with the band for six months, after which he was replaced by guitarist and singer John Staehely, who, along with his brother Al and Curly Smith, had played in Pumpkin, and in 1971, replaced Randy California in Spirit! This final version of Jo Jo Gunne toured North America for another year, releasing an album in October 1974 with the caustic title "So…Where's The Show?" (a consolation 198th place), and in June 1975, having exhausted both the terms of their contract with Asylum and their own potential, they quietly disbanded. Ferguson appeared on albums by Earl Slick and Keith Moon that same year, and in 1976 began a highly successful solo career. Curly Smith played in Ian Hunter's band and later contributed extensively to the studio, including two of Ferguson's albums. The Andes brothers participated in a Spirit revival in late 1975, but after one album, they parted ways: Mark later achieved success with "Firefall" and "Heart," while Matt left show business. In 2005, rather unexpectedly for the general public and to the delight of longtime fans, Jo Jo Gunne reunited with its original lineup. The strong and energetic album "Big Chain" was released that same year.
