00:08:14The criteria that you'll be judged on are added value, overall design, and creativity.

00:08:20But you will need to use strategy more than ever before because the winning team will have a choice.

00:08:27Win $3,000 and put it toward your designs the following week or add $1,000 to your final appraisal

00:08:37at the end.

00:08:40Almost every season on Rock the Block, the difference between first and second, under $10,000.

00:09:12I think across the board, not being able to give context to some of your choices is challenging, but I

00:09:17think it puts it all at an equal disadvantage.

00:13:55A lot of people don't know that I've had my own design business for about eight years,

00:13:59decorating short-term rentals in Nashville.

00:14:01I'm not just Hulk Hogan's daughter, so Rock the Block is my chance to prove I do have design chops.

00:14:06I came here because I've done a lot of other things for other people,

00:14:10been helping people with vacation properties, income properties, their own properties,

00:14:15and I'm ready to get on the biggest real estate competition and show people what's possible.

00:14:22How are you feeling about Rock the Block?

00:14:23Normally, it's like crawl, walk, run.

00:14:25You're like, I'm just going to start with a sprint.

00:19:46I'm here because I am a true artist.

00:19:50I went to school for fine arts.

00:24:26So I started trying to learn everything I could about the renovation and construction

00:24:36when they have something they need to fix.

00:24:38So for me, it's been a goal to get on here and show that I can do this.

00:25:18But I like also to have longevity to it.

00:25:21I don't want it to be too trendy.

00:35:23And I finally landed in Nashville and started this design business decorating short-term rentals.

00:35:28And it was really, like, a struggle in the beginning.

00:35:31There was a time when I thought it was just going to go under, because I was, like, spending more

00:35:34than I was making and didn't have a lot in savings.

00:35:37And I was like, this is either going to make or break me.

00:35:39I actually even waited tables in Nashville at one point.

00:35:42I was working 23-hour days and, like, living on coffee and protein bars.

00:35:46And then I started loving it.

00:35:47And it became something I was really good at and really proud of.

00:35:51And we became one of the top design firms in Nashville.

00:35:53It's interesting.

00:35:54I don't think anybody really understands, like, what we do, because it's in Nashville and it's away from everybody.

00:35:59Half the family's in California, half is in Florida.

00:36:01And it's like, I'm just kind of like the Lone Ranger.

00:36:03I think your journey is just beginning.
