00:47paladin is laurie's favorite i can tell you why that bird in real life was my favorite is because
00:54um cockatoos are very expressive and very smart and seem like they make little cooing noises and
01:06we shot a scene which i think is it is in episode three so the shot was supposed to be
01:12that the bird
01:13playing paladin sitting on my arm while i talked to him but he crawled up onto my shoulder and then

01:20first i was like is this good or bad is he gonna peck my eyes and the handlers said no
01:28it's good and
01:28so i just got to have that sweet bird on my shoulder and talk to him and it was really
01:34easy to sweet talk
01:36him for that scene because i did feel a lot of love for for all animals and that that those
01:44birds are
01:44amazing daryl i need to get straight into it with paladin the parrot in episode three because that
01:50sequence is so incredible because up to that point bishop is so still so quiet and he makes his moves
01:57with such like grace and precision yeah like timing that money shot and please tell me
02:04the parrot is like in real life well i think palette thank you first and foremost um i think that

02:10scene i love that scene so much because it is sort of this like you you're sort of like oh

02:17there's a lot more to bishop than meets the eye um and i think it's such a interesting way sam

02:25created it you know to put him in a place where it's like you know him against a lot of

02:32people um um and it's just the danger in it that tension and it i think is incredible um and

02:52get to be around an animal like you you can leave me in a room with any animal i got

02:59daryl earlier today about the whole scene where he comes in and he kind of does the feint before he
03:04kills paladin what are you doing
03:16working with daryl is really fun he's so his character is so um deadpan and understated
03:26but he like you said daryl makes choices that are really funny and interesting in little
03:33little moves that he does and um yeah it was just really fun really fun working with him and
03:40i met him and adewale the same day um not on that set but on in when they were shooting
03:47the the alamo's
03:48end of the the phone call between alamo and laurie and i was kind of intimidated because they all knew
03:54each other and i didn't and i just showed up to read off camera and then at between shots we're
04:00like
04:00talking about our dogs and daryl showing me his dog on his phone and it's just a sweet group of
04:06people
04:07it's just a sweet group of people and yeah really great to work with
