00:00How to do a crocodile, or how the rest of the world calls it, the one-arm elbow lever.
00:06First, let's look at technique.
00:08Turn your hand out.
00:09Your fingers should be pointing towards the outside, and your thumb in the direction of your upper body.
00:14Place your elbow close to your center line to naturally balance the position.
00:18You will want to lean into your fingertips in performing the lever to stay in control.
00:22Prep your body by training small archer push-ups where you aim the elbow towards your midline,
00:26and practice back lifts to take off like an airplane.
00:29For the actual skill training, start on the floor with an elevated hand and feet.
00:33Perform single limb raises to get used to the pressure on the body,
00:36and to develop an understanding to how balance works in this unique skill.
00:40Lastly, start training your crocodile with an elevated hand to facilitate the liftoff.
00:44Over time, reduce elevation until you reach the floor.
00:47Don't forget to train both sides, get to work.
