02:37It could be his head wasn't screwed on just right.
03:10But I think...
03:11He knew every who down in Whoville beneath was busy now, hanging a hollyhoo beef.
03:47And then, oh, the noise, oh, the noise, noise, noise, noise.
03:53There's one thing I hate, oh, the noise, noise, noise, noise.
04:02And they'll do...
04:14They'll do...
04:22They'll do...
04:29They'll do...
04:32They'll do...
04:36They'll do...
04:42And they'll do...
04:46They'll do...
04:48And they'll do...
04:55And they'll do...
05:12And they'll do...
05:21And they'll feast, feast, feast, feast, feast, feast.
05:25They'll feast on who pudding and rare who roast beast.
05:31Oh, roast beast is a feast I can't stand in the least.
05:58And then, they'll do something I hate most of all.
06:03And then, every who down in Whoville, the tall and the small, will stand close together.
06:11With Christmas bells ringing, they'll stand hand in hand.
06:17And those who's will start singing.
06:36They'll do...
06:42Welcome, welcome, all who love us Welcome, welcome, all who love us
06:50Christmas Day is in our grasp So long as we have hands to pass
07:01And they'll sing, and they'll sing, and they'll sing, sing, sing, sing
07:08And the more the Grinch thought of this whole Christmas sing
07:12The more the Grinch thought, I must stop this whole thing
07:17Why for 53 years I put up with it now
07:21I must stop Christmas from coming
07:26But how?
07:30Then he got an idea
07:32An awful idea
07:36The Grinch got a wonderful, awful idea
07:47I know just what to do, the Grinch laughed at his throat
07:52I'll make a quick Santa Claus hat to the goat
07:56And he chuckled and clucked
07:59What a great Grinchy trick
08:02With this coat and this hat, I'll look just like Saint Nick
08:13You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch
08:17You really are a heel
08:22You're as cuddly as a cactus
08:25You're as charming as an eel, Mr. Grinch
08:30You're a bad banana with a greasy black peel
08:43You're a monster, Mr. Grinch
08:48Your heart's an empty hole
08:52Your brain is full of spiders
08:55You've got garlic in your soul, Mr. Grinch
09:01I wouldn't touch you with a
09:0339 and a half foot hole
09:08All I need is a reindeer
09:10The Grinch looked around
09:12But since reindeer are scarce
09:14There was none to be found
09:15Did that stop the Grinch?
09:17Ha!
09:17The Grinch simply said
09:18If I can't find a reindeer
09:21I'll make one instead
09:25So he took his dog Max
09:27And he took some black thread
09:29And he tied a big horn
09:31On the top of his head
09:52Then he loaded some bags
09:54And some old empty sacks
09:56On the ramshackle sleigh
09:57And he whistled for Max
10:26Then the Grinch said
10:30And the sleigh started down
10:32Toward the hoes
10:33Where the hoes lay a snooze
10:35In their town
10:44And he misunderstood as an other
10:45Not the hell
10:45Who am I всего
10:47Who am I?
10:52I might not be at the back
10:53But if I can't find a deco
10:58Within the rainy way
10:58And I could do that
10:58The three beautiful with the crow
10:59And I might not be at it
10:59I might not be at it
10:59Thank you
10:59Your smell
11:00You might not be at it
11:02You might not be at it
11:02You might not be at it
11:02Here be at my home
11:02To you
11:02I have goat
11:04I may not be at it
11:04I can't be at it
11:05Come and there
11:05In publish
11:06lady
11:06street
11:15Oh, my God.
12:03All their windows were dark.
12:05No one knew he was there.
12:07All the Whos were all dreaming sweet dreams without care.
12:12When he came to the first little house of the square.
12:20This is stop number one, the old Grinchy Claus hissed as he climbed to the roof, empty bags in his
12:26fist.
12:33Then he slid down the chimney a rather tight pinch.
12:36But if Santa could do it then, so could the Grinch.
12:39He got stuck only once for a minute or two.
12:42Then he stuck his head out to the fireplace flue where the little Whos stockings hung all in a row.
12:51These stockings, he Grinched, are the first things to go.
12:58Then he slithered and slunk with a smile most unpleasant around the whole room.
13:06And he took every present.
13:08Pop-guns, pampoulas, pantoukas and drums, checkerboards, bisselbinks, popcorn and plums.
13:15Then he stuffed them in bags.
13:16Then the Grinch very nimbly stuffed all the bags one by one up the chimney.
13:28You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch.
13:32You have termites in your smile.
13:37You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile, Mr. Grinch.
13:45Given the choice between the two of you, I'd take the, um, seasick crocodile.
14:08You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch.
14:11You're the king of sinful sots.
14:17You're a hard-so-dead tomato splotched with moldy purple spots, Mr. Grinch.
14:25You're a three-decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich with arsenic sauce.
14:31Ah, ah, ah.
14:56Ah, ah.
15:04Then he slugged the icebox, he took the Who's feast, he took the Who pudding, he took the
15:11roast beast, he cleaned out the icebox as quick as a flash, why that Grinch even took
15:17the last can of Who hash.
15:20Then he stuffed all the food up the chimney with glee.
15:23Now, grinned the Grinch, I will stuff up the tree.
15:37As the Grinch took the tree, as he started to shove, he heard a small sound like the
15:44coo of a dove.
15:45He turned around fast and he saw a small Who, little Cindy Lou Who, who was no more than
15:52two.
15:53She stared at the Grinch and said,
15:56Santa Claus, why?
15:59Why are you taking our Christmas tree?
16:02Why?
16:04But you know, that old Grinch was so smart and so slick, he thought up a lie and he thought
16:12it up quick.
16:14Why, my sweet little tot, the fake Santa Claus lied.
16:19He said, there's a light on this tree that won't light on one side.
16:25So I'm taking it home to my workshop, my dear.
16:29I'll fix it up there, then I'll bring it back here.
16:34And his fib fooled the child.
16:37Then he patted her head and he got her a drink and he sent her to bed.
16:42And when Cindy Lou Who was in bed with her cup, he crumbed to the chimney and stuffed the
16:50tree up.
16:50Then he went up the chimney himself, the old liar, and the last thing he took was the log
16:58for their fire.
17:00On their walls, he left nothing but hooks and some wire.
17:05And the one speck of food that he left in the house was a crumb that was even too small
17:13for a mouse.
17:16Then he did the same thing to the other Who's houses, leaving crumbs much too small for the
17:23other Who's mouses.
17:27You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch, with a nauseous super-noss.
17:36You're a crooked jerky chocky, and you drive a crooked horse, Mr. Grinch.
17:46Your soul is an appalling dump heap, overflowing with the most disgraceful assortment of rubbish
17:53imaginable, mangled up, entangled up knots.
18:08You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch.
18:13You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
18:18You're a heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk, Mr. Grinch.
18:26The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote, STINK, STANK, STUNK.
18:42It was a quarter of dawn, all the Who's still a bed, all the Who's still a snooze, when he
18:49packed up his sled, packed it up with their presents, their ribbons, their wrappings, their
18:55snoof and their fuzzles, their tringlers and trappings.
19:1910,000 feet up, up the side of Mount Crumpet, he rode with his load to the tip-top, and
19:28to dump it.
19:53Poo-poo to the Who's, he was grinchily humming.
19:56They're finding out now that no Christmas is coming, they're just waking up, I know just
20:03what they'll do.
20:04Their mouths will hang open a minute or two, then the Who's down in Whoville will all cry,
20:10Poo-hoo!
20:12That's a noise, grinned the Grinch, that I simply must hear.
20:17He paused, and the Grinch put a hand to his ear, and he did hear a sound rising over the
20:25snow.
20:26Well, it started in low, then it started to grow.
20:32Poo-hoo!
20:48Thank you!
20:51Helloand Jane.
20:53Thank you za pokrys, your haber, let' hope.
20:58Have fun.
21:00All this way.
21:01Let's get back for weeks for a minute.
21:02We go steady to twice for a minute.
21:02Welcome, welcome, Wahoorahus.
21:06Welcome, welcome, Wahoorahus.
21:10Welcome, Wahoorahus.
21:10Welcome, Wahoorahus.
21:10Christmas Day is in our grasp.
21:15But this, this sound wasn't sad.
21:20What?
21:22This sound sounded glad.
21:26Every who down in Whoville, the tall and the small,
21:31was singing without any presence at all.
21:36He hadn't stopped Christmas from coming.
21:40It came.
21:42Somehow or other, it came just the same.
21:48And the Grinch with his Grinch feet, ice cold in the snow,
21:54stood puzzling and puzzling.
21:57How could it be so?
21:59It came without ribbons.
22:03It came without tags.
22:08It came without packages, boxes, or bags.
22:13He puzzled and buzzed till his puzzler was sore.
22:18Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before.
22:20Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store.
22:26Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.
22:32No.
22:49Oh.
22:51No.
22:53What's that?
22:54Where are you?
22:55No.
22:55No.
22:56No.
22:57No.
22:58No.
22:59No.
23:00No, no.
23:01No, no.
23:18And what happened then?
23:20Well, in Whoville, they say, that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day.
23:30And then, the true meaning of Christmas came through, and the Grinch found the strength
23:37of ten Grinches, plus two.
23:42And now that his heart didn't feel quite so tight, he whizzed with his load through the
23:47bright morning light.
23:49With a smile in his soul, he descended Mount Crumpet, cheerily blowing hoo-hoo on his trumpet.
23:57He rode into Whoville, he brought back their toys, he brought back their floof to the Who
24:03girls and boys.
24:04He brought back their snoof and their tringlers and fuzzles, brought back their pantookas,
24:10their dafflers and wuzzles.
24:12He brought everything back, all the food for the feast.
24:16And he, he himself, the Grinch, carved the roast beast.
24:27Welcome Christmas, bring your cheer, cheer to all who's far and near.
24:33Christmas Day is in our grasp, so long as we have hands to cross.
24:38Christmas Day will always be, just as long as we have we.
24:43Welcome Christmas while we stand, heart to heart and hand in hand.
24:50Christmas Day is in your heart.
24:58Christmas Day is in your heart.
25:18Christmas Day is in your heart.
25:20While we stand heart to heart and hand in hand
25:26Thou who poor is, thou who gloreth
25:30Welcome, welcome, free is God
25:34Free is God
