00:00Welcome back to Upgrade My Life, the series where I'm attempting to upgrade my tiny apartment nook
00:04into an awesome home workspace. Last time, I added the Anker Prime wireless charging station to my
00:10desk and continued to aggressively not find a chair. As I've been editing more and more,
00:15I realized something was slowing me down. Color grading. Using just a mouse and keyboard is
00:19totally fine, but it doesn't exactly feel fun. And if I'm upgrading my workspace, I might as well
00:24upgrade the way I actually work. That's when I started looking into control panels for DaVinci
00:29Resolve and landed on the Blackmagic micro color panel. It's compact, doesn't take up much desk
00:34space, and gives me real physical dials and buttons for color correction. And because of the little
00:39opening in the micro color panel, you can fit an iPad Pro. So I used my 13-inch iPad Pro
00:44as a second
00:45screen for scopes and color grading, and it worked effortlessly. What surprised me the most is how
00:50much faster everything feels. I'm spending less time hunting for sliders and more time actually
00:55dialing in a look. It honestly makes color grading feel less like a chore and more like part of the
01:00creative process. It also looks pretty sick on my desk, which of course never hurts. So the Blackmagic
01:05micro color panel is officially the latest addition to my setup, and I'm one step closer to my dream
01:10workspace. Now all I need is a chair. Seriously, please drop your chair recommendations. I am begging at
01:17this point.
