00:00This is the world's first pixel-level privacy display built into a mobile device,
00:05arguably the biggest selling feature on the new S26 Ultra.
00:09I mean, just check out how well this works.
00:11You can see with it enabled how quickly it goes from looking like a normal screen
00:14to completely blacked out when I turned the display from side to side.
00:18You can quickly turn this feature on or off and even more impressive,
00:22it can be applied to just certain sections of your screen to hide only the sensitive parts that you're seeing,
00:27whether that's entering a password or getting a notification,
00:30or if you want, you can set it to the entire screen for when you're using apps like your banking,
00:36photo gallery, or anything else where you definitely want to make sure there are no prying eyes peeking over.
00:41And the tech inside is actually pretty wild.
00:43Display uses two different sets of lights for its pixels, direct and side-facing.
00:49Privacy mode is disabling the side pixels on the outer parts of the display, which gives it that effect.
00:55And then there's maximum privacy mode, which disables a larger portion of the outer region,
01:00further narrowing the effective viewing area of the display.
01:04Unlike a traditional privacy screen protector, which often reduces screen brightness, clarity,
01:10and usually restricts your viewing angles by quite a bit,
01:14with Samsung's privacy display, it doesn't have these setbacks.
01:16Yes, this is exclusive to the Ultra,
01:18but let me know if you're someone who needs this kind of added privacy in your life.
01:23Is it a feature that would make you drop the extra cash on the S26 Ultra
01:26over the rest of the S series lineup, or maybe other competing models?
01:31Let me know.
