00:00I'd like you all to meet. This is my son, Scar.
00:07When people talk about Hulk's future in the MCU, the conversation usually circles back to Bruce
00:13Banner, his split personality history, and all the rights complications surrounding solo Hulk
00:18films. But there's another character quietly sitting in the background who could change
00:23everything if Marvel decides to use him properly, Scar. And honestly, a solo Scar project in the
00:30MCU doesn't just feel possible, it feels like something Marvel could seriously explore,
00:36especially because the groundwork is already there. Scar first showed up in Marvel Comics
00:41after the events of What If Planet Hulk No. 1 in 2007, and then officially entered canon
00:48continuity in World War Hulk No. 5 in 2008. He's the son of Hulk and Kyra, a powerful warrior
00:56from the planet Sakaar. That alone makes him interesting, because he isn't just another
01:01Gamma Mutate. He's literally born from two worlds, Earth and Sakaar, and that dual heritage gives
01:08him layers that go way beyond just smashing things. In the MCU, though, Scar's introduction
01:14was brief and almost strangely quiet. He appeared in the final episode of She-Hulk Attorney at Law,
01:20titled, Whose Show Is This?, played by Will Duesner. Bruce casually introduced him at a family gathering,
01:27and that was it. No explanation, no backstory, not even a line of dialogue. It felt more like a tease
01:34than a full debut. So because Marvel chose to reveal him in such a low-key way, it left fans
01:40wondering what the real plan is. And that's where the idea of a solo Scar project starts to make
01:46sense. In the comics, Scar is incredibly powerful. He has strength comparable to Hulk, along with
01:53durability, stamina, healing abilities, and serious combat skills. But what really separates him from
02:00his father is something called the Old Power, an energy source inherited from Kyra. This power
02:06allows him to manipulate tectonic energy and the Earth itself. So he's not just a Hulk copy,
02:13he's Hulk plus something ancient and cosmic. That difference is important, because it gives Marvel
02:19room to build a story that doesn't feel like a repeat of Bruce's arc. Although Hulk solo films in
02:26the MCU have always been complicated due to distribution rights tied to Universal Pictures,
02:31that doesn't mean a Hulk-adjacent story is off the table. A Scar-focused project could sidestep some
02:38of those issues by technically centering on him rather than Bruce. So even though it would still
02:44connect deeply to Hulk lore, it wouldn't necessarily need to be branded as a traditional Hulk movie.
02:50One obvious path would be tying Scar into a Hulk-centric storyline if Marvel ever adapts something
02:56inspired by World War Hulk. In the comics, Scar wasn't the centerpiece of that event,
03:02but the MCU could easily change that. Because Scar is Bruce's son, any conflict involving Hulk
03:08could become deeply personal if Scar is pulled into it. He could stand beside his father as part of a
03:14war-bound style group, or he could even question Bruce's choices and carve out his own path. There was
03:21also leaked MCU concept art showing Scar alongside Hulk and She-Hulk in what looked like a medieval
03:27style village filled with Hulk-like beings. If that concept connects to Avengers Doomsday,
03:34it suggests Marvel is at least considering a larger Hulk mythology on screen. And if that's true,
03:40Scar could be central to it rather than just a background character.
03:45But here's the thing. Scar doesn't have to live in his father's shadow. Because the MCU
03:50is building a roster of younger heroes, there's a strong possibility Scar could align with a team
03:56like the Young Avengers. We already have Kamala Khan, Kate Bishop, Cassie Lang, Riri Williams,
04:03and Billy Maximoff positioned as next-generation heroes. Kamala even started recruiting in the mid-credits
04:09scene of the Marvels. So although Scar hasn't interacted with them yet, he would bring something
04:15unique to that group's raw power. Every team needs a powerhouse. And while the Young Avengers have
04:21intelligence, agility, and magical talent, they don't really have a Hulk-level tank. Scar could
04:28fill that role. Because he's young but extremely powerful, it would create interesting dynamics. He
04:34might struggle with control or feel pressure living up to Hulk's legacy. That tension alone could fuel an
04:41entire character-driven series. On the other hand, Marvel could take a darker route. In the comics,
04:48Scar has clashed with his father before. During the Doc Green storyline in Hulk No. 7,
04:54Bruce drained gamma radiation from other gamma-powered beings, including Scar. Later,
05:00Scar returned mutated and radicalized in Gamma Flight No. 1. That storyline showed how easily he
05:07could be pushed into a more antagonistic role. If something similar happened in the MCU,
05:14it would create one of the most personal conflicts in the franchise. Father vs. Son. Hulk vs. Scar.
05:21And because family rivalries are practically a tradition in the MCU, Thor fighting Loki and Hela,
05:28T'Challa battling Killmonger, Gamora and Nebula constantly clashing, would fit right in.
05:33Even though Scar appeared calm and almost shy in She-Hulk, that could have been intentional
05:39misdirection. Marvel often introduces characters softly before flipping expectations. So a future
05:46reveal that Scar feels abandoned, manipulated, or torn between worlds could hit hard emotionally.
05:52Then there's the multiverse angle. With Avengers Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars on the horizon,
05:58the MCU is heading toward massive reality-shifting events. Battleworld, in the comics, is a patchwork
06:06planet formed from fragments of destroyed universes. And because Scar's old power connects him to the
06:12Earth and tectonic forces, it could be creatively reinterpreted as something capable of stabilizing
06:18or reshaping a broken world. Imagine a solo Scar project that leads directly into those events.
06:25Maybe he struggles to understand his powers, travels off-world to learn about Sakaar's history,
06:31and discovers something crucial about the old power. So when the multiverse starts collapsing,
06:37he's not just Hulk's son anymore, he's a key player in holding reality together. That kind of
06:42storyline would allow Marvel to blend cosmic, mystical, and gamma elements in a fresh way.
06:48Of course, Scar doesn't have to stay in cosmic territory either. He could take a more grounded
06:55approach. Pairing him with street-level heroes like Daredevil or She-Hulk could show how someone
07:00with overwhelming strength navigates everyday hero work. Or he could confront other gamma characters
07:06like Abomination, Red Hulk, or The Leader, creating a sort of gamma-centered saga.
07:11But there's always the other possibility. Marvel has introduced characters before who never reappeared.
07:18Sometimes teases don't lead anywhere. And because Scar's debut didn't generate huge mainstream buzz,
07:24Marvel might decide to quietly move on. That would be disappointing, especially since the character
07:30has so much potential. Still, the leaked concept art suggests he hasn't been forgotten. So although
07:36nothing is officially confirmed, it seems unlikely that Marvel would introduce Hulk's son without at
07:42least discussing long-term plans behind the scenes. At the end of the day, a solo Scar project is
07:48absolutely possible in the MCU. It could solve the Hulk rights issue creatively, expand the gamma mythos,
07:55connect to the young Avengers, or even tie into multiversal events. Because Scar isn't just a smaller
08:01Hulk, he offers something new. A blend of ancient power and raw strength, shaped by a completely
08:06different upbringing. And although we don't know when he'll return, the door is wide open.
08:11Whether he stands beside his father, fights him, joins a team, or reshapes worlds with the old power,
08:18Scar has the potential to become one of the MCU's most unexpectedly important characters.
08:23So now, it's just a matter of whether Marvel decides to let him step out of that silent cameo,
08:29and into the spotlight where he actually belongs. And that's that for today's video.
08:34Thanks for watching and we'll see you in the next one.
