00:00But you can prove the whole line of, like, there's my mom, there's my mom, there's her mom, this is
00:05her mom, this is my grandmother, she is Canadian, and by all the legal changes, so am I.
00:15It was in February, and we were kind of looking at things post-ICE, my wife and I, which was
00:22stressful, we were kind of looking around, we didn't have a job yet for next year.
00:25About the same time, my brother posted on this family WhatsApp group that, hey, we are actually Canadian citizens.
00:35I mean, I've been in a combat zone, I've experienced what that's like, I've been in a bunker while you're
00:41getting attacked, and yet I felt safer there than at moments I felt watching my own government be now the
00:48aggressor against its own citizens here, and it's like, that's, that's a very different experience.
00:55I can't say I'm proud to be an American right now, and that's sad to me.
00:59Oh, yeah.
01:00I want my daughters to be able to have a secure, healthy environment.
01:05I want them in a world that's, that's safe, and that's hopeful.
01:11Yeah, we're ready. That's the pack. Ready to go.
01:14Today's the day, and I'm the last one in my family to do it.
01:18Everyone else is waiting in the line, and, you know, we'll get up there, enter the queue, and see, you
01:23know, in a year, maybe at that point, we'll be officially recognized.
01:30I think you do kind of wake up to the reality of, like, there is a huge opportunity here that
01:35is just like, wow, that's really amazing.
01:39What do you think?
01:41Same. I'm just, I love the reassurance, have another option.
01:45Yeah.
01:46Yeah.
01:46What's more American than chasing freedom?
01:47Yeah.
