00:00111. He said, “Then go, for you will have in this life to say, ‘Do not touch me,’ and you have an appointment which you will not fail to keep.”
00:14112. And look to your God, to whom you have strayed, clinging.
00:21113. We will burn it and then scatter its ashes in Yemen, out of sorrow.
00:29114. Your God is only Allah, besides Whom there is no other deity. His knowledge encompasses all things.
00:41115. Thus We relate to you some of the news of what has preceded, and We have given you from Our presence a reminder.
00:53116. Whoever turns away from it will bear a burden on the Day of Resurrection.
01:00117. They will be burdened with a load on the Day of Resurrection.
01:07118. The Day the Trumpet is blown, and We will gather the criminals on that Day, blue-eyed.
01:15119. They whisper among themselves, “You stayed only ten [days].”
01:21111. We know best what they say.
01:26112. As the most exemplary of them says, "You stayed only a day."
01:33113. And they ask you about the mountains
01:37114. So say, "My Lord will utterly destroy it."
01:42115. He will leave it a level plain.
01:45116. You will not see in it any crookedness or unevenness.
01:52117. On that day they will follow the caller, without deviating.
01:57118. And the voices were silenced for the Most Merciful.
02:01119. You will hear nothing but a whisper.
02:07111. On that day intercession will be of no avail
02:11111. Except for those whom the Most Merciful permits and whose words He approves
02:16112. He knows what is before them and what is behind them.
02:20113. They have no knowledge of it.
02:23114. And faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence.
02:28115. He who bears injustice will be disappointed.
02:32116. And whoever does righteous deeds while being a believer
02:38117. He will not fear injustice or oppression.
02:42118. And thus We have revealed it as an Arabic Qur'an
02:48119. And We have explained therein the warnings
02:52110. Perhaps they will become righteous or be reminded.
02:58111. Exalted is God, the True King
03:03112. And do not hasten with the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you.
03:10113. And say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge."
03:14114. And We had already made a covenant with Adam before
03:21115. He forgot, and We found no resolve in him.
03:24116. And when We said to the angels, “Prostrate yourselves before Adam”
03:30117. So they prostrated themselves, except for Iblis, the father.
03:36118. So We said, “O Adam, this is an enemy to you and your wife.”
03:44119. So do not let them expel you from Paradise and cause you to suffer.
03:50111. You will not go hungry or naked therein.
03:55112. And that you will not be oppressed or sacrificed therein
04:02113. Then Satan whispered to him, saying, “O Adam, shall I show you the tree of immortality and a kingdom that will never perish?”
04:13114. So they were both of them, and their private parts became visible to them.
04:17115. And they began to fasten together leaves from Paradise to cover themselves.
04:26116. And Adam disobeyed his Lord and went astray
04:32117. Then his Lord chose him, accepted his repentance, and guided him.
04:38118. He said, “Descend from it, all of you, some of you enemies to others.”
04:44119. So if guidance comes from me from you
04:49119. Whoever follows guidance will neither go astray nor suffer.
04:56110. And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a life of hardship.
05:04111. And We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.
05:09112. He said, “My Lord, why have You raised me blind when I was seeing?”
05:16113. He said, “Thus did Our signs come to you, but you forgot them.”
05:24114. And so today you forget
05:28115. And thus We recompense those who transgress and do not believe in the signs of their Lord. And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more lasting.
05:42116. Have they not been guided by how many generations We destroyed before them, in whose dwellings they now walk? Indeed, in that are signs, for they
05:56117. And were it not for a word that had already gone forth from your Lord, it would have been inevitable and a term appointed.
06:07118. So be patient with what they say.
06:11119. And glorify the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting.
06:18119. And glorify Him during the night and at the tips of the horses, that you may be pleased.
06:27110. And do not extend your hand to what We have given you of enjoyment, [O Muhammad], a splendor of worldly life by which We give them pleasure. But the provision of your Lord is better and more lasting.
06:45111. And He commanded you to pray and persevere in it. We do not ask you for provision; We provide for you. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous.
06:57112. And they said, "Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord, and you have not come to us in the first chapters?"
07:08113. And if We had not punished them before, they would have said, "Our Lord, why did You not send us a messenger so we could have followed Your verses before we were humiliated and invaded?"
07:35114. Say, "Every one who waits, wait, for you will know who are the companions of the straight path and who is rightly guided."
07:48115. Say, "Every one who waits, wait, wait, for there is no one among us."
