Breaking reports indicate that a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has been extended for an additional three weeks, following a major announcement attributed to Donald Trump. The development comes amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation. The extension is being viewed as a temporary stabilizing measure, with global attention focused on whether long-term negotiations will follow. Officials and observers are closely monitoring the situation as both sides assess the next steps in the fragile agreement.

00:00Israel and we think that the president of Lebanon and the Prime Minister of
00:05Israel over the next couple of weeks will be coming here they've agreed to an
00:10additional three weeks of I guess no firing ceasefire no more firing let's
00:16see we hope that happens not gonna happen between them but they do have
00:21Hezbollah to think about well thank you very much and I'm told this is a rather
00:25historic meeting because these countries have been bordering each other for many
00:31many years and doesn't happen much although they like each other I found
00:36that out today and I've sort of heard about that they actually like each other
00:39Lebanon and Israel and we had a great meeting with the very high officials of
00:45Lebanon and very high officials of Israel and we think that the president of
00:51Lebanon and the Prime Minister of Israel over the next couple of weeks will be
00:55coming here they've agreed to an additional three weeks of I guess no
01:01firing ceasefire no more firing let's see we hope that happens not gonna happen
01:06between them but they do have Hezbollah to think about and we're going to be
01:13working with Lebanon to get things straightened out on that country I really
01:18believe we it's something we can do pretty easily just with the power of who
01:23we are the great people the Lebanese people we have our ambassador here who
01:27who has done a fantastic job faster to Lebanon from the United States and we had a
01:35great conversation and I think it's the beginning of something very important to
01:38be a wonderful thing to get this worked out simultaneously with what we're doing
01:43in Iran and I'd like to start by just asking JD or vice president a great vice
01:49president to say a few words and then Marco will speak and then the
01:53representatives from the country Mike Huckabee you'll say a few words Mike
01:57you've done a great job by the way I appreciate it everybody does and JD please
02:03yes sir well first of all congratulations congratulations to you and our
02:06secretary of state but most importantly congratulations to the people of Israel and
02:10Lebanon I think it's a major historic moment we're gonna extend the ceasefire
02:14for three weeks that's already in place between Israel and Lebanon of course it
02:18wouldn't have happened without the president's direct engagement the fact
02:21that you have these leaders of different countries coming together for the
02:24first time they came together in the Oval Office and they came together because
02:27of energetic diplomacy of course led by the president United States so I think
02:31it's a big moment for the world it's a big moment for our country but just very
02:35proud to be a part of it so thank you sir for making it happen thank you thank you mr
02:39president for hosting this actually you know the president wanted to be
02:42personally involved and glad he was because it made it possible to get this
02:45extension and it gives everybody time to continue to work on what's going to be
02:49a permanent peace between two countries that want to be at peace both are
02:53victimized by the same terrorist organization a terrorist organization that
02:57no doubt has victimized Israel but has also victimized the people of Lebanon the
03:00people of Lebanon deserve to live in a country that's peaceful and
03:04prosperous they have an opportunity to do that they have a history of that and
03:07what's standing in the way is an organization that operates a terrorist
03:10organization that operates within their national territory that needs to be
03:14that threat needs to be eliminated and so thank you mr. president for this
03:18gathering today and for for convening it and being a key part of it and it
03:22buys this time to continue to work I'm very optimistic that in a few weeks we'll be
03:26even closer to the kind of permanent peace that the people of Israel and
03:29Lebanon deserve thank you very much Michelle well I would like to thank the
03:34president vice president and secretary to make this historical meeting today that
03:39bring two countries that they never been next to each other more than today in a
03:44way this is 60 70 years in the making and today is really the historical day thank
03:49you mr. president vice president secretary and we are gonna keep going
03:55working for a peace that hopefully we'll get it as soon as possible thank you very
03:59successful man and when I asked him if he'd like to be ambassador to Lebanon I
04:05said could be a dangerous job he said well I'm Lebanese I was born in Lebanon and I
04:10your parents have a whole big history he said danger doesn't matter to me really
04:15it's something I wanted is very successful he didn't need this and I think
04:19it's probably more dangerous than you even thought but you've done a fantastic job
04:23it is an honor for me to serve you mr. president and then I'm gonna go till the end
04:28thank you thank you very much and likewise Mike Huckabee we all know Mike
04:33and he didn't need it either did he but he's doing a fantastic job Mike go ahead
04:38please I just want to say mr. president what an amazing opportunity to be here at
04:43a moment of history the people of Lebanon the people of Israel are neighbors and
04:47they want to get along they can get along but it's like neighbors who have a
04:51rough little kid living in the neighborhood who keeps throwing rocks at
04:54everybody's window and if the kid will quit throwing rocks the neighbors can get
04:58along and start actually working together the president has initiated
05:03something that is truly bringing the neighborhood back to a neighborhood and
05:09recognizing that the problem is not Lebanon that the problem is not Israel the
05:12problem is Hezbollah the bad little kid throwing rocks that's what the
05:17president is getting launched today to get that little kid out of the
05:23neighborhood thank you mr. ambassador please thank you mr. president for your
05:29hospitality for bringing Israel Lebanon together here in the Oval Office Israel
05:35wants peace with Lebanon and Israel wants security for its citizens we're
05:40united with the Lebanese government and wanting to rid the country of this malign
05:45influence called Hezbollah and now that mr. president under your leadership Iran has
05:51been so degraded the possibility of degrading Hezbollah and liberating Lebanon
05:57from their occupation is real so we hope that together under your leadership we can
06:02formalize peace between Israel Lebanon in the very near future and we are just
06:06very thankful for the opportunity thank you and I look forward to having the next
06:10meeting with your great prime minister is is a wartime prime minister with Bibi and
06:17with the president of Lebanon it will be fantastic I think a lot of lots going to happen
06:23madam ambassador thank you so much thank you so much president Trump thank you for your
06:28leadership for making sure to be presiding over this historic moment I want to really say thank
06:34you to the United States under your leadership for all your effort to help and to support Lebanon
06:39and I think with your help with your support we can make Lebanon great again thank you so much
06:44thank you very much I think we will any questions yeah please thank you for having us in the White
06:57House for the year and a half this is historical for our audience as well we would like to ask
07:03you
07:03two three questions first question the peace between Lebanon and Israel do you think it will happen this
07:08year I think it is a great chance I mean you know they they're friends about the same things and
07:14their enemies on the same things and it has to do with I guess you could say a couple of
07:19countries but
07:19certainly it's you look at Hezbollah that's where everybody seems to be united against them so
07:28they are both very united in that way you know I think there's a very good chance of having peace
07:33I
07:33think it should be an easy one relative to some of the things we're working on it should be an
07:37easy
07:37one but it's been so many years because nobody focused on it but Lebanon was a great country it
07:44was a beautiful country smart people very brilliant people doctors professors economists some of the
07:50smartest people on the on the planet but it got torn apart by different factions and nothing having to do
07:57with them people outside factors so I know I think it can be brought back pretty quickly
08:02and when do you think our president will meet Netanyahu here I think we'll do it over the next during
08:08this
08:08period of time during the three-week period ideally I mean I'd like to suggest over the
08:14three-week season three weeks if you can do that well we're here we'll do it in the Oval Office
08:19and regarding Hezbollah is not is not responding to our government is doing whatever it wants what do you say
08:27for
08:27well look Israel has to I mean we're just talking about it Israel is going to have to defend itself
08:33if they're shot at and they will I would never say that they can't be nice if they wouldn't have
08:40to bother with that but if they if something
08:43happens they're going to have to defend themselves as you know but they're going to do it carefully and they're
08:48going to be surgical as opposed to beyond surgical and you know there's a lot they can do but Israel
08:55is going to have to defend itself
09:07what is your reaction to that statement and do you believe Saudi Arabia must play a central role in a
09:13potential development Israel peace process
09:16well Saudi Arabia is great and they have a great leader and I think that they'd be very happy with
09:23this I haven't spoken in my will this happened very quickly but Saudi Arabia is going to be
09:29they're they're great people a great great place incredible place I know it very well but I know the leader
09:37very well and he'd want to see something like this happen he's a tremendous guy
09:58I think it's maybe the greatest political slogan in the history of the world make America great again but you
10:06know we're great now so I will never say that we won't use that slogan mega
10:11America but we have another one America is back where's that hat does anybody that's the old one and then
10:18show them the new one and we never choose we're never changing
10:23Macca I don't have the courage to change Macca make America great again but you know we're really we're great
10:31now we're the hottest country anywhere in the world we're the most powerful country in the world by far
10:35and we suffered years of abuse by people that were grossly incompetent like Biden like Obama Obama was incompetent he
10:44was a great divider and we are we're a great country again we're respected all over the world that's why
10:51this happened so fast I mean it can happen fast thank you
10:55the funding that is all that gets from Iran is Iran going to have to cut that off to do
11:01a deal with you yeah they'll have to cut that that's a must for you yeah sure that's a must
11:05yeah
11:05Mr. President apparently there was a special forces soldier who was involved in the capture of Venezuelan President Maduro who
11:13was arrested by federal authorities today on suspicion of insider trading and betting on the hauling market
11:20are you concerned are you concerned that federal employees are betting on these prediction markets and potentially getting rich
11:27well I don't know about it but uh was he betting that they would get him or they wouldn't get
11:32him
11:32it sounds like he was betting on his removal from office that Maduro would be removed
11:37it sounds like he was involved in the operation that's like Pete Rose betting on his own team
11:41it's a little like Pete Rose Pete Rose he kept him out of the hall of fame because he bet
11:45on his own team
11:46now if he bet against his team that would be no good but he bet on his own team I'll
11:51look into it
11:51yeah also maybe they're being placed as well on the Iran conflict too and there have been some
11:56trackings where people suspect that there's insider trading happening on these prediction markets around
12:01the war are you concerned well you know the whole world unfortunately has become somewhat of a casino
12:10and you look at what's going on all over the world in Europe and every place they're doing these
12:15betting things I was never much in favor of it I don't like it conceptually but it is what it
12:20is
12:20no I think that I'm not happy with any of that stuff but they have all these different sites they
12:26have
12:27predictive markets it's a crazy world it's a much different world than it was please
12:32we talked about the Fed's renovation can someone other than the Justice Department find out the things you said you
12:38wanted to learn
12:39well good I mean look it's pretty easy when you look I've looked with Jerome too late
12:45well I have a real problem because he should have been lowering interest rates a long time ago
12:51and despite that we fought through it and we have the greatest economy we've ever had
12:55you take a look I mean we just I don't know what the market is today but we've broken every
13:00record over
13:00the last few days and this is during a military operation or a war whatever you want to call it
13:06it makes no difference as far as I'm concerned but we have this unbelievable economy the S&P has a
13:13new
13:13record the Dow is right at a new record we already broke the record with the Dow people said it
13:18wouldn't
13:18happen in four years they said in four years it won't be able to be possible to break 50,000
13:23we broke it
13:24with the Dow and I'm actually a little bit surprised that we're breaking it constantly even now during
13:31this conflict because when we broke it I called a lot of the people here I called JD I called
13:36Marco
13:37I called Howard I called Scott I said hate to tell you fellas but we have to do a little
13:42bit of a detour
13:42we have to go to Iran and make sure they don't have a nuclear weapon we had just broken every
13:46financial
13:47record and the amazing thing is we continue to break them even during the war now fuel went up but
13:53I
13:53thought it would have gone up much more and a lot of ships are coming to the United States and
13:59they're using the United States instead of the Hormo Strait amazing things are happening our country is
14:07amazing you know we don't have an oil shortage we have wood drill baby drill we we are right now
14:11producing more oil than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined do you know that more and in about a year from
14:21now
14:21we'll be doing double the level and Venezuela has been fantastic we have a great relationship with
14:27that country and with the people that are running the country and we're taking out we're taking in
14:34millions of barrels of oil millions and millions from Venezuela it's been a great experience to be
14:41honest with you they're doing a very good job and they have our backing okay mr. president can you
14:46just clarify again what exactly here we go listen to this just just clarify here we go here's his ball
14:59and the leaders will most likely be coming here during that time and I think when they do that's a
15:04very historic meeting they have never they haven't met for many many years as I understand
15:09never they've never met think of that they're next to each other they're great people and they've never
15:15met this should be an easy one okay good question thank you
15:32how is it a crime
15:36well I think we have to end that yeah okay that's something we're gonna have to end I'd never heard
15:41of that but that's a good start it's a crime to talk with Israel well I'm pretty sure that that'll
15:50be ended very quickly okay I'll make sure of that and I know Lebanon doesn't want that we'll end up
15:56you will you work on that please everybody that's crazy the ship that was captured on Monday you said
16:03there was a gift for the Iranians in it what was that in that ship one from China yeah well
16:09we have
16:10that's very top secret yeah there was stuff in there but it's top secret i'd like i'd like to let
16:17you know that's a good question that's one of those little questions whoa this is that good no
16:22it's uh we have a lot of things that we got you know that the uh the straight the uh
16:29what we've done
16:30with the blockade is amazing and nobody nobody gets through and nobody wants to get through nobody's
16:35trying the one tried they shut out the engine but nobody's trying we have complete control now they can
16:43drop their minds in there and do all those stupid things it's just going to take longer for them to
16:48make money because the minds are going to affect them much more than they're going to affect us but
16:53and we don't know that they're doing that but they could be that then if they if they're doing it
16:57it's a very foolish thing to do just like for Iran to shoot at Saudi Arabia UAE and Qatar and
17:03Kuwait
17:05Bahrain all the different places they they shot nobody expected that they thought they'd shoot at
17:12Israel at all fairs but you didn't expect they'd be shooting at numerous other countries i think
17:17it was a big mistake if they're putting minds down it's a big mistake for them i will say are
17:22you angry
17:22at china for what they sent to Iran no no so there's some reporting today no i guess we do
17:29the same thing
17:29don't we with other countries you know it's like one of those things but uh nothing better it wasn't
17:39earth-shaking yeah there's some reporting today so that you tend to invite to the g20 in miami is that
17:45the case no but if he came it would be probably very helpful you know i've said a long time
17:52ago when
17:52they made the g8 the g7 they threw russia out before my time that was obama and a certain prime
18:03minister
18:03from a place called canada strudeau and uh i said that that's a stupid thing to do and i was
18:11right
18:11you know they spent i go to these meetings of the g7 and about 90 percent of the meeting was
18:18talking
18:18about russia and what's going on with russia and i said why don't you throw them out you know if
18:25they
18:26didn't throw them out they would have been much better off in my opinion you know it should it should
18:30have been the g8 but when they threw out president putin uh he was very offended by that he was
18:37rightfully but he was very offended by that i venture to say you probably wouldn't be having
18:42these problems if you didn't throw them out okay so he's not coming to the g20 not that i know
18:48of but
18:49because there are senior administration officials being quoted in news reports this afternoon that says
18:54they're being the russians are being invited to at least ministerial yeah you're saying being invited as
19:00opposed to coming i don't know of the invitation but if he were invited i don't know hey i'm of
19:06the
19:06opinion that you talk to everybody i'm not one of these guys oh let's not talk to him you know
19:10there's
19:11a war going let's not talk to him i like talking to everybody if you if you're a smart person
19:16if you
19:17have control over your emotions and all the other things you need control of i'm somebody that believes
19:23and talking i don't know of that uh i don't know that he's coming i doubt he'd come to be
19:28honest
19:28with you i sort of doubt he'd come but uh we're working on trying to get that one solved that
19:34would
19:34be number nine i've ended eight wars um and that one is but it's they continue to fight the hatred
19:44between him and president zelinski is extraordinary i can tell you can i ask you a few questions sir
19:51what do you think of this idea of replacing iran with italy in the world cup
19:58i don't think about it too much
20:02that's an interesting question let me let me give it you know what let me give it that a little
20:08that's a very is that what they're doing they're thinking about replacing it apparently it's a
20:12proposal what marco make is paul marco could you make a statement of that please what do you think
20:17there's nothing from the u.s has told them they can't come i mean the problem with iran
20:22it would be not their athletes it would be some of the other people that we want to bring with
20:26them some of whom have ties to the irgc we may not be able to let them in but not
20:29the athletes
20:30themselves uh but no one's i don't know where that's coming from other than speculation that iran may
20:35decide not to come and italy would fill their spot but that's they decide not to come on their
20:39own because they decided not to come what they can't bring is a bunch of irgc terrorists into
20:43our country and pretend that they're you know journalists and athletic trainers
20:48we would not want to affect the athletes is the government going to buy a stake in spirit airlines
20:56so spirit is
21:00uh an airline that's had some trouble they were going to merge with people express or one of them
21:07a number of years ago and barack hussein obama decided it was a bad idea how did that work out
21:13it's bad for both of them that would have been a natural merger not united and american but spirit and
21:18the other um we're looking at helping them we have 18 000 people that live
21:24in this country that are great people and great employees we're thinking about doing it helping
21:30them out and meaning bailing them out or buying it i think we just buy it we'd be getting it
21:36virtually
21:37debt-free they have some good aircraft that have good assets and when the price of oil goes down
21:43we'll sell it for a profit i'd love to be able to save those jobs i'd love to be able
21:48to save an airline
21:48you know we i like having a lot of airlines so it's competitive so we are looking at spirit it's
21:54in a bankruptcy it's in bankruptcy court and we're looking if we could get it for the right price i'd
22:00do it to save the jobs and we have somebody that wants to run it do a good job smart
22:06person and if
22:08they run it properly and if prices come down all of a sudden it's a valuable asset and they have
22:13some
22:14and they have some very good slots too which are pretty valuable do you want to answer that well
22:31we're working on it it's not done yet but once it's done i will ask the president to come and
22:37cut the
22:37rubin we'd love to have you i have no objection to that go ahead please in the uk today they've
22:43just
22:43announced a total of 1.3 billion dollars in return from digital service tax which you in the past
22:51have called it an unfair tax on american companies you know very well you have previously called for
22:56investigations but so far as you can tell there has been done would you call i say so what tax
23:01is
23:01this digital service taxes they kind of make it a tech tax or big tech tax that kind of you
23:06mean they're
23:07going to put a tax on basically american companies it's already there so did you say the uk yes sir
23:11they've made 1.3 billion dollars last year so is that something you would kind of investigate call
23:17for these graphs have a look at we don't like it when they target american companies because basically
23:22you're talking about our great american companies and whether we like those companies or don't like
23:26them they're american companies and they they're top companies in the world and uh we are looking at
23:34we've been looking at it uk did it a couple of other people did it they think they're going to
23:38make an easy buck that's why they've all taken advantage of our country they don't take advantage
23:42of it no we've been looking at it and we can meet that very easily by just putting a big
23:46tariff on
23:47the uk so they better be careful if they don't drop the tax we'll probably put a big tariff in
23:51the uk
23:52but they expect five percent ten percent something similar whatever i mean more than what they're
23:57getting they shouldn't be doing that that's all that's doing is really targeting it's targeting great
24:04companies but there are companies it's like us targeting their companies which we could do very
24:08easily but you don't have big companies like that you don't have those great companies not fair
24:13uh i have i have an obligation to protect our companies that's how they became great and they
24:21become great during my administration my first four years we had this we had the best economy in
24:25history of my first four years and this will blow it away look at it during a war we have
24:30the highest
24:30stock market during a you know a war it's not a big war for us but it's a war and
24:38during a war we
24:38have the highest stock market i have to protect this country so if they'd want to do the service
24:43tax france did it also and some others and uh we i mean literally have a meeting after this having
24:50to do with that exact question and what we'll do is we'll reciprocate by putting something on that's
24:58equal or greater than what they're doing and they won't be happy about that no that's enough you've
25:26been saying that for years and now they're finding out that the 2020 election was totally rigged
25:33and uh when you look at what just excuse me how do you defend what just happened where your southern
25:38law whatever it is has given money to kkk they're supposed to protect people and they're paying all
25:44these people crooked as can be millions of dollars millions of dollars going all to all these people
25:50that they're supposed to be protecting from but they're actually supporting them because they want
25:55to have companies that they can protect them because they want to rig elections that was all a rigged
25:59election all of the things with charlottesville all of the stuff that they did and you won't bring that
26:05up but you'll bring up some nonsense let me tell you the election we were winning all day long
26:10it's a totally horrible situation hopefully the courts will overturn it what they did in virginia
26:15and you have a grossly incompetent governor yet a very good governor he did a good job you know
26:20all those companies that want to move into virginia now they want to move out and go to a different
26:24location so that's my opinion i believe it was a rigged election virginia's known for it
26:30it was a rigged election they had a lot of uh ballots mail-in ballots anytime you have mail-in
26:35ballots anytime you have mail-in ballots you have cheating did you have something
26:40yes um you said that the u.s will work with lebanon to protect itself from hezbollah what does that
26:45look
26:45like exactly what is that you said that the u.s will work with lebanon to protect itself from
26:50well we're just going to work with them i mean we have a good relationship with lebanon it's amazing
26:55that you know it's the amazing thing is they actually have sort of a good relationship with
27:00israel they don't deal with each other but now they're going to deal with each other we're putting
27:03them together what's the material support that you intend we're going to help we're just going to help
27:08them we're going to help them they're great people it can be a really good country again maybe a great
27:14country again and i think you have all the ingredients so we're going to work together and i
27:18think israel is going to i think israel is going to be terrific but they do have a common problem
27:24it's
27:24hezbollah okay a couple of more so sometimes republicans are saying that they don't want to vote for
27:29a bill that just has the homeland security funding would you support them expanding that to include other
27:34attacks well i'd love to see one thing you know that is save america i'd love to say the save
27:42america
27:42act which is voter id which is uh proof of citizenship which is by the way no mail-in voting
27:51which is a
27:52fraud anytime you have mail-in voting you're going to have a fraudulent election but uh i'd leave it for
27:58military you know mail-in voting for military for people that are sick for people that are traveling like
28:03business or whatever different things but disability where they have a problem but uh
28:10no mail-in ballots we added a couple of things no men playing in women's sports it's unrelated but it's
28:16a popular thing and no trans gender mutualization of our children so that's it thank you very much
