03:14Start with an ordinary notebook. Open the back cover.
03:17And start to apply a thin line of glue along the edge.
03:20Do this along the side and the bottom of the page.
03:23Next, you'll need a length of pink ribbon. Stick the ribbon to the glue.
03:27Repeat this with more lengths of pink ribbon along the bottom of the page.
03:31Once you've done that, you'll need some green ribbon.
03:33Stick the strips of green ribbon along the side of the page.
03:36Don't leave any gaps. Keep it side by side.
03:38Now close the notebook over.
03:40Fold the pink ribbon over the notebook.
03:41Then thread the green ribbon over and under the pink ribbon.
03:45Continue this all the way up the notebook with each strand of ribbon.
03:48You'll create a lattice effect.
03:50Open the notebook back up and run the strip of glue along the top of the page.
03:55Fold the excess ribbon over the cover and stick it to the glue.
03:58Make sure it's pressed down firmly.
04:00Apply glue along the edge again, over the top of the ribbons.
04:03Remember to only put it on the three edges.
04:05Now put a sheet of card over the glue.
04:08Give it a press to make sure it's stuck in place.
