00:10the precautionary hold departure order to prevent Romualdez from traveling overseas
00:14for his angioplasty surgery. Romualdez was granted a travel clearance on April 20. He was supposed
00:20to travel from April 20 to May 4, but the Ombudsman only requested the order on April 21.
00:26Romualdez faces complaints before the Ombudsman for plunder, graft, money laundering,
00:31and direct and indirect bribery. The Ombudsman alleges Romualdez is the purported mastermind
00:36behind the kickback scheme with the ghost flood control projects. In the meantime,
00:40the former Speaker's lawyer, Ade Fajardo, confirms he is still in the country.
00:44Any report or insinuation that he has fled is false and irresponsible.
