00:10We built ACE, which is the first autonomous robot that can challenge professional human
00:19athletes under competitive conditions in a physically interactive game, here at table tennis.
00:44So the robot has to play to learn how to play and the more it plays the better it gets
00:51really.
00:58The robot recently won matches against a top 25 player in the world on the women's side
01:08and against a male player in the top 200 of the world.
01:18So the importance of this breakthrough is really around pushing the frontier RBI.
01:23For the first time, we're showing this capability in the real world in a highly competitive sport
01:29like table tennis.
01:30And so it's really showing for the first time that these technologies that were developed
01:34in the virtual world or in board games can actually transfer to the real world.
01:38And how they transfer to the real world, that's really the core of the contribution of this project.
01:45For the next few different projects.
01:47For the first time, we haven't found an opportunity for the solitude of the world.
01:47However, we'll see you in the spotlight.
01:48So the biggest thing about that here is that we are going to learn.
