00:01:36When you run your own show, obviously you're like the male lead of your series.
00:01:39So we don't really get to see each other until there's events like this where you get to interact.
00:01:42Folks might believe we see each other all the time, but we don't. We absolutely don't.
00:01:45Just being around these people is just the most uplifting and soul nourishing thing.
00:01:50These crazy people and I love them so much. It's been amazing.

00:02:19I think this year my favorite one was the emotional script and it was fun to be able to tell
00:02:24that story.
00:02:25I would say probably Undercover Prison King, totally different than any vertical I've ever done or any vertical that I've
00:02:29ever seen.
00:02:30Wings of Fire and that was the coolest show and that was by far my favorite and most memorable project
00:02:36this year.
00:02:37Dungeons of Ecstasy.
00:02:39So much fun and it was just good cast, good crew, good food.
00:02:43Best.
00:02:44It was amazing.
00:02:45The full short called Taming My Bullies and we just had the best, best, best time ever.
00:02:48It was like the greatest team.

00:02:54I remember when I first started doing verticals, I was like, okay, acting job?
00:02:58Yes, please.
00:02:59And I had the best time.
00:03:00And it was one of those things where I didn't know what I was getting myself into.
00:03:03And everybody's here to work and do their jobs was the best surprise and here I am still doing it
00:03:08two years later.
00:03:08I have a more unique thing about my journey.
00:03:11And I remember I turned to my co-star and I was like...
00:03:15It was totally new.
00:03:16And then I showed up on set and I was like, these guys are gonna take over the world.
00:03:20Through teaching one who works at Real Short and after a few months of playing with them, they said, hey,
00:03:27you should I tape in?
00:03:28And that was it.
00:03:30I met Erica.
00:03:31She's my agent.
00:03:33And she had walked in there and I was working there and she's like, you should come work at Real
00:03:36Short too.
00:03:36And I was like, all right.
00:03:37My first ever vertical, I was a vertical that Rebecca was starring in.
00:03:42And it was very sweet because I almost like looked up to her.
00:03:45I was like, oh my gosh, this girl isn't so many.
00:03:48But I sat there as a background watching her get married.
00:03:51And, you know, it was just so sweet and beautiful to like be working with her now.
00:03:55I got an offer for a show, gosh, two years ago now.
00:04:00And it was a little bit more risque in nature.
00:04:05I was reading through the script and it wasn't something at the time that I felt like I could really
00:04:08do and make it look authentic and real.
00:04:10And so I told them I couldn't take it.
00:04:13And they were so good to me and so sweet and literally were like, not a problem at all.
00:04:19We have another script that's more, you know, PG-13.
00:04:23I was part of like kind of the first wave of people that started doing these verticals.
00:04:27Luckily, I got put on a Real Short production.
00:04:29And that's when I was like, OK, yeah, like I can I can do a Real Short.
00:04:32To see where they were and to where they are now, like, it's absolutely mind blowing how far they've come
00:04:39in just two years.

00:04:42I was at USC and my agent sent me this thing and I didn't know what it was.

00:05:42You know, I did my first vertical not knowing it was a vertical.
00:05:45It was labeled as a web series on one of the acting sites.
00:05:48And I showed up and the cameras are sideways and I was like, sick, what are we doing here?
00:05:52And then they explained it and I was like, that's actually incredible. Let's do it.
00:05:55I was cast in my very first one, which was called You Fired a Tech Genius.
00:06:00And when I spoke to the head of production and she offered me the lead role, this changed my life.
00:06:08Is there anyone here that you would like to work with?
00:06:13I want to work with Rebecca. I don't think we've done a project together.
00:06:18She's such a sweetheart and she's so cute.

00:06:23I've been interviewing a couple now and most of them have said they want to work with you.

00:07:12I haven't worked with Jesse yet. Or Richard. I haven't worked with either of them. That would be cool.
00:07:17I have not worked with any of the other male leads. So I would love to do one with one
00:07:22of the other male leads.
00:07:23Like Mark, Richard, Jesse, Chris, any of the boys. Like I would love to shoot one with one of them.
00:07:30Because I see Seth all the time and we're friends. I think it'd be really fun if we played brothers
00:07:36in a vertical. I think that'd be a lot of fun.
00:07:39I think that's one of the really cool things about when I got to do American Sniper is we had
00:07:43a cast full of like leading men.
00:07:45And that never happens. Like I don't normally get to work with like the other leading men in the vertical
00:07:49space.
00:07:49Who was on the list today? Well, just not all of them.
00:07:53Verticals have done so much for me. Obviously some of them are campy and silly.
00:07:57But really what they've done for me, I'm a very visual learner and for my acting.
00:08:02For example, people that aren't in the industry might not know, but when you film a feature film or you're
00:08:07filming in a television show,
00:08:08you film it and it doesn't come out for years sometimes.
00:08:12And so by the time you get the chance to watch it and critique your acting ability and learn from
00:08:16it,
00:08:18it's two years down the line. You fix most of those things that you're watching and you're like, oh, that's
00:08:22not working.
00:08:23But with verticals, the good thing about it is it's like a boot camp.
00:08:27You're on all the time. You're in every scene. You get the chance to develop these characters and take them
00:08:31one way or another.
00:08:32And then you get to see it within two months. So you know exactly where you're at in your acting
00:08:37ability.
00:08:37It completely changed it. I was in a place during the rider strike was going on and there was no
00:08:43work going on.
00:08:44My agency went bankrupt. And then I was just working these constantly and these, I feel like a lot of
00:08:50actors have kept them afloat
00:08:51when they wouldn't normally have been able to because it's just so slow, it feels like.
00:08:56And I think I've just gained a lot of good experience with being in front of the camera and good
00:09:01experience with turning around scripts really quickly
00:09:04because we move really fast. And I guess I've gotten a great amount of exposure and I've gained people that
00:09:10like watching me, which is great.
00:09:13It's been an overall very grateful experience and I hope it keeps going.
00:09:19What are your goals for 2026?
00:09:21I don't know. I gotta get through this year.
00:09:25I think just keep working and take the projects that really inspire me, make time for friends and be better
00:09:32about planning out those little breaks
00:09:33where I get to feel me and embrace my hobbies and remember the things that I love and therefore who
00:09:40I am at my core.
00:09:41Prioritize my health a little more, get back into Taekwondo and work on more exciting projects that make me happy.
00:09:49I want to continue to be a greater walk of masculinity.
00:09:53I want to continue to be a man that's trustworthy, who's strong but kind, who's a good leader.
00:10:00Kind of try out some different roles than what y'all are used to.
00:10:03Definitely, you know, something edgier, a little more fun, wink wink.
00:10:07Dare I say villain? I don't know.
00:10:08My goal is honestly to keep working.
00:10:12So I'm hoping, which it's looking good, I'm hoping to do at least one project a month in 2026.

00:10:20I want to travel somewhere I've never been before.
00:10:22Those are my two main goals.
00:10:23I think we can like branch out and start doing all the other crazy, you know, genres would be fun.
00:10:28I'd love, I'd love to do like a Jack Reacher, James Bond kind of version and stuff.

00:10:33I would love to actually take the action and mix it with my dad.
00:10:37Kind of like, you know, CEO dad thing is like, they got my daughter.
00:10:40I'm coming for you with my unique set of skills.
00:10:42I'm writing a short right now.
00:10:43It's like my, I did a few in college, but this is the first time post college, which is much
00:10:48harder because no one's forcing you to do anything.
00:10:51So I'm doing that and it's kind of like a passion project.
00:10:54I see myself in a new place.
00:10:56I'm planning a move in 2026, which can be a little bit hard when you're working in this kind of
00:11:02industry when you just take what comes up.
00:11:04But I'm very excited.
00:11:07Moving feels almost like a reset, like we're starting new at the beginning of the year.
00:11:12And I hope that just brings like even more like bright ideas, whether it comes to social media.
00:11:19Outside of verticals, really, I'm very excited for this cartoon to come out.
00:11:24Because that is just something so, so unexpected, I think, from what fans will see.
00:11:31As far as verticals, like to find a home with real short, it's such a rare thing.
00:11:39I plan on staying with this family for as long as possible and keep working and keep making people happy.
