00:03Tuesday it has begun construction on a new data center in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
00:08valued at more than $1 billion as it builds AI infrastructure to secure computing power,

00:14The company said the site will create more than 1,000 construction jobs at peak
00:18and about 100 operational jobs after completion.
00:21The facility will span more than 2 million square feet at Fair Oaks Innovation Park
00:26and will be Meta's first data center in Oklahoma.
00:28Meta said it will pay the full cost of water and wastewater services.
00:32The project marks its 28th U.S. facility and 32nd worldwide as it expands AI capacity.
00:39Governor Kevin Stitt said,
