00:00When 17-year-old Jordanian Labib Hajara felt he couldn't give his dog the attention it deserved because of his
00:07school schedule,
00:08he was delighted to find Dogtopia Daycare, a place where dogs can spend their days, socialize with other dogs, and
00:14receive training if necessary.
00:17According to Reuters, Dogtopia was founded in 2020 and is one of only a few doggy daycares in Jordan.
00:24They offer entertainment, training, grooming, and a taxi service to and from the pet owner's homes.
00:30Founder Mushair Radaide says Dogtopia started as a taxi service and later began providing walking services for dogs.
00:37But a 1-2 hour walk is not enough for a dog to exert their energy, and as Jordan lacks
00:43spaces for dogs,
00:44he wanted to come up with a huge space for dogs to play in a comfortable way.
00:49When the dog gets bored, it affects its psychological side. It stops to become active and stops playing with its
00:55friends.
00:55There's a need to find a space for them to express their energy in a positive way with other dogs.
01:01The Amman-based daycare has approximately 25 dogs who spend their days in a big garden with an obstacle course,
01:08plenty of shade, and once in a while, birthday cake.
