For many years, the GLC has been Mercedes-Benz's most popular model. It consistently tops the charts worldwide as the brand's bestseller, as it did in the first half of 2025. Now, customers can look forward to a fascinating new model: the Mercedes-Benz GLC with EQ technology will expand the lineup starting in the first half of 2026. Extensive customer feedback from around the world shaped the development of the electric GLC from the very beginning. Reliable, elegant, and unmistakably a GLC, it elevates everything Mercedes-Benz customers value to a new level.
The new electric GLC marks a turning point in the midsize segment. It is the first model in an entirely new vehicle family with a refined design language and the intelligence powered by the AI-driven MB.OS supercomputer. Designed from the ground up as a battery-electric vehicle, it excels in performance, range, efficiency, and charging speed. At the same time, it sets new standards in its class for design, perceived value, versatility, and spaciousness. The new GLC offers even more legroom and headroom than its conventionally powered siblings and an impressive towing capacity of up to 2.4 metric tons.
Upon entering the new GLC, customers are greeted by the extraordinary new MBUX HYPERSCREEN. At 99.3 centimeters (39.1 inches), it is the largest screen ever seen in a Mercedes-Benz. Combined with the warm and inviting ambient lighting, which even illuminates the starry sky in the SKY CONTROL panoramic roof, it elevates the unique Mercedes-Benz “Welcome home” feeling to a new level of comfort, safety, and security. This familiar and intuitive sense of belonging in the new electric GLC makes it an inviting space that seamlessly integrates into the lives of its drivers.
