00:05These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur'an.
00:11Those who disbelieve may wish they had been Muslims
00:18Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be inspired by hope, for they will soon know.
00:27And We did not destroy any town except that it had a known decree.
00:36No nation can precede its appointed time, nor can they delay it.
00:44They said, "O you to whom the Reminder has been sent down, indeed you are mad."
00:54If you had not brought us angels, you would have been among the truthful.
01:03We do not send down the angels except with the truth, and they were not warners then.
01:17Indeed, We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed, We will be its Guardian.
01:25And We have sent before you among the sects of the former peoples
01:32And no messenger came to them except that they ridiculed him.
01:41We also walk in the hearts of criminals
01:47They do not believe in it, and the tradition of the ancients has passed.
01:54Even if We opened for them a gate from the sky, they would remain therein like a date palm stalk.
02:09They would have said, "Our eyes have been dazzled; rather, we are a people bewitched."
02:19And We have placed constellations in the sky and beautified it for the observers.
02:30And We protected it from every accursed devil.
02:36Except for one who steals a hearing, and is pursued by a piercing flame.
02:46And We spread out the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains.
02:51And We caused to grow therein all things in due proportion.
02:59And We have made therein means of livelihood for you and for those for whom you are not providers.
03:07There is nothing but that its depositories are with Us.
03:15We do not send it down except in a known measure.
03:22And we sent the winds to reality
03:26We sent down water from the sky and gave it to you to drink, and you are not its keepers.
03:40And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the inheritors.
03:46We have already learned about those among you who have come forward.
03:51And we have learned from the later generations
03:55And your Lord will gather them together. Indeed, He is Wise and Knowing.
04:02And We have certainly created man out of clay from altered mud.
04:13And Paradise, We created it before, from the fire of Hell.
04:21And when your Lord said to the angels
04:26I am the Creator of humankind from clay, from mud molded into shape.
04:35So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down prostrating yourselves before him.
04:43So the angels all prostrated themselves together
04:51Except for Iblis, who refused to be among those who prostrated.
05:00He said, "O Iblis, what is the matter with you that you are not among those who prostrate?"
05:08He said, "I would never prostrate to a human being whom You created from clay, from mud molded into shape."
05:19He said, "Then get out of it, for you are accursed."
05:25And may the curse be upon you until the Day of Judgment.
05:31He said, “My Lord, then grant me respite until the Day they are resurrected.”
05:38He said, "You are among those granted respite."
05:44Until the appointed time
05:48He said, “My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth.”
05:57And I will surely mislead them all.
06:00Except for Your sincere servants among them
06:06He said, "This is the straight path to Me."
06:11You have no authority over My servants.
06:16Except for those who follow you from among the misguided
06:23And Hell is their appointed place, all of them.
06:29It has seven doors, each door having a divided section.
06:38The righteous will be in gardens and springs.
06:45Enter it in peace and security
06:50And We will remove whatever rancor is in their hearts, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing one another.
07:00They will not suffer any hardship therein, nor will they be expelled from it.
07:08Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful
07:17And that my punishment is the most painful punishment.
07:22And tell them about Abraham's guest
07:26When they entered upon him, they said, “Peace.” He said, “Indeed, we are afraid of you.”
07:34They said, "Do not be afraid. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy."
07:42He said, “You have given me good news even though old age has overtaken me. So what is it that you give me good news for?”
07:51They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be among those who despair."
08:00He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?"
08:10He said, "What is your mission, O messengers?"
08:16They said, "We were sent to a criminal people."
08:25Except for the Al-Ghattan family, we will surely save them all.
08:33Except for his wife, our destiny, and she is among those who have passed on.
08:41When the messengers of the Ghatan family came
08:49He said, "You are a people who deny the truth."
08:55They said, "Rather, we have brought you that about which they were in doubt."
09:02We have given you the truth, and indeed, we are truthful.
09:07So take your family away during a portion of the night and follow their trail.
09:14None of you should look back, and proceed as you are commanded.
09:23And We decreed to him that the root of these people would be cut off by morning.
09:36The people of the city came rejoicing
09:42He said, "These are my guests, so don't expose them."
09:52Fear God and do not disgrace Him
09:56They said, "Did We not tell you about the worlds?"
10:01He said, "These are two daughters you were doing."
10:10By your life, they are in their drunken stupor, wandering blindly.
10:17Then the cry seized them at sunrise.
10:21So We turned it upside down and rained down upon them stones of baked clay.
10:31Indeed, in that are signs for those who discern.
10:37And it is a straight path
10:43Indeed, in that is a sign for the believers.
10:47And the people of the thicket were indeed wrongdoers.
10:53So we took revenge on them.
10:56And they are a clear guide
11:01The people of the stone denied the messengers.
11:07And We gave them Our signs
11:09So they turned away from it.
11:13They carved out safe houses from the mountains.
11:19Then the cry seized them at dawn.
11:24So what they used to earn did not avail them at all.
11:30And We did not create the heavens and the earth
11:34And there is nothing between them except what is right.
11:38And the Hour will not come
11:42Forgive with a beautiful forgiveness
11:44Indeed, your Lord is the Creator, the All-Knowing.
11:49We have certainly given you seven of the oft-repeated verses and the Grand Qur'an.
11:57Do not extend your eyes toward that which We have given to certain groups of them to enjoy.
12:06Do not grieve over them, and be gentle with the believers.
12:11Say, "I am the clear warner."
12:16As We sent down upon the dividers
12:22Those who made the Quran great
12:26For we will surely question them all.
12:32What were they working on?
12:35So proclaim what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists.
12:40Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers.
12:45Those who associate with God will soon know.
12:52We know that you are distressed by what they say.
12:59So glorify the praises of your Lord and be among those who prostrate.
13:06And worship your Lord until certainty comes to you
13:12Amen
