The world’s largest condom manufacturer, Karex, has announced a major price hike of up to 30% as the ongoing Iran war disrupts global supply chains.
Rising costs of petrochemical-based materials like synthetic rubber, nitrile, and plastic packaging are forcing the company to pass expenses on to consumers. Shipping delays and higher freight costs have also doubled delivery times to key markets like Europe and the United States.
