00:58Well, solidly as well at the front of the chase was Tudor Pro Cycling, doing all the work for defending
01:04champion Michael Storer but indeed at what cost? Would they be burning themselves down?
01:09A long run off that last categorised climb, there's still a test to be had at the end of the
01:14day and a mighty one as well that would really sap a few legs but it was the descents where
01:19indeed the gaps were starting to open up in the chase.
01:22Our breakaway, they kind of rolled over the final of our bonus sprints today, just the one each day and
01:30so 6, 4 and 2 bonus seconds going the way of the breakaway, no skirmish for that as far as
01:36the pack were concerned.
01:37However, the battles were about to rage. One man had been in the break since the beginning of the day,
01:41Mathieu Gaffoury, spectacularly so, he pushed on along with Davide Baïs, the two best placed of the breakaway.
01:48They were last men standing but who would have the power to start to wind them in? It was still
01:53being poured on by Tudor Pro Cycling.
01:55Other teams getting something of a free ride, Ineos Grenadiers with their orange shoulders, very close at hand, waiting to
02:01strike and there was a few others as well.

02:07Well, it's hard to keep a good man down and a very, very good man out there is Giulio Belizzari
02:13and it wasn't long before he started getting lively at the end of the day.
02:17They were rocking and rolling but honestly he was selling them a merry dance. Away he went and it was
02:23for others to start chasing into that gap.
02:25Lorenzo Finn had been busy. Alexander Vlasov was about to become exactly that as well and in fact a few
02:32were getting free rides on the back wheel of those who would indeed challenge for the podium by the end
02:37of the day.
02:38Oh, super work as well by Igor Bernal, very much still part of the vanguard, getting up onto the shoulder
02:44of his teammate Tima and Aaronsman but still in the chase and still with a lead weight around them.
02:49Well, it takes something unusual potentially to upset the apple cart from a situation such as this and we believed
02:54it might happen by Alexander Vlasov set off in hot pursuit of that golden group now up front.
03:00He bridged over to them and with only 700 metres to go he powered by them and in fact by
03:07the time we got to the hoarded section he was out front but a great foil it proved to be
03:11for Giulio Belizzari.
03:12Others were forced to get in the chase. Of course, Igor Bernal was the man who latched on and then
03:17Belizzari lit it up and went for the centre line following him through superbly with Tima and Aaronsman and the
03:22battle for the line was between the pair of them.
03:24Ultimately, Belizzari takes the win he had been coveting and the lead of the race and just about everything else
03:32as well.
03:33It looks like he's absolutely in charge of this one and the ground that's still to come in the next
03:38three stages more than appeals to his kind of toolkit.
