Sudan's military chief meets Saudi Crown Prince in Jeddah

Sudan's military chief Gen. Abdel-Fattah Burhan, who chairs the ruling sovereign council, arrived in Jeddah on Monday for talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to discuss the latest developments in his country and the wider region.

00:28Trade between the two nations is estimated at $8 billion, driven by Saudi imports of
00:34livestock and agricultural goods.
00:37The kingdom has backed the Sudanese armed forces in their war with the paramilitary rapid support
00:43forces, providing political and financial support.
00:47It's also served as a primary mediator in the conflict, alongside the US, Egypt and the UAE.
00:53Abu Dhabi, meanwhile, is accused of supporting the RSF with money and weapons.
