00:18just ain't gonna never get a Euphoria Season 3 and then you gonna call it Andalé like you didn't
00:24do nothing but drag your feet all these years? Decades have gone by. Years have gone by. I've
00:28watched my godsons grow up into young men waiting on a Season 3 of Euphoria. Okay? So for you to
00:35call it Andalé like you've been rushing to do something is just a little bit I'm just a little
00:41confused. Okay? I don't even remember what happened in Season 1 and 2. All right? Now if y'all did

00:46rewatch good job for you. Okay? You get a gold star. But you know what? I just said I'm just

00:52in blind and honestly I don't know if you really needed to do a rewatch to get into what was
00:57happening in Season 3. The only thing that you need to remember is that Rue ain't gonna never
01:03get her ish together. Cassie and Nate that's a whole nother topic because I knew y'all were
01:09hunching but I didn't know that y'all was like actually like in love hunching so I'm just really
01:14confused about that one. But yeah before I actually get into this week's episode I just want to give
01:19like a little bit of ground rules. Okay? Because lately you guys have been coming to the channel and
01:23y'all been wanting to tussle in the comment section. I just don't understand. So let me just do a
01:26disclaimer. All right? Just in case y'all forgot. I do recaps and reviews. I'm gonna recap the episode
01:31and I'm gonna add some commentary in between that. It's gonna be funny. I might go a little hard on
01:38some of the characters and that's okay because guess what? They're not real. They're not real. And I'm
01:42gonna say that one more time because some of y'all forgetting that especially when we get to our
01:46Testaments review. They're not real. Okay? So I'm not attacking a real person. I'm not attacking the
01:52actor or actress that are that is playing that character. I'm just talking about these bad choices
01:57that everybody be making in Euphoria. All right? Because I know y'all like to tussle in the comment
02:01section but I'm just letting y'all know I can tussle too. All right? Okay. Now I want to start
02:07with Rue
02:08but actually I'm gonna hold off on Rue for a moment because I do need to talk about Cassie and
02:13Nate
02:13because I'm just actually very confused flabbergasted. Okay Cassie is is you know
02:20Rue does his voiceover where you know she says that Cassie's living in a right-wing suburban
02:25neighborhood. I'm just trying to understand why Cassie is dressed like a dog doing these
02:31woof woof song like videos and stuff. She's trying to become social media famous and I was just like
02:38Cassie I just really hoped and prayed that after all these years that you will find some self-worth
02:43but obviously you still have not found that sweetheart so I'm gonna put you back on the
02:47prayer list and if I find you I'm gonna tell you to go to the altar because you we might
02:53actually
02:54have to do an exorcism because there has to be some type of spirit in you that will make you
02:58want
02:59to marry Nate and do these dog videos like sweetheart whatever you're doing is not working you look cute
03:05and all but you ain't got to do all of that baby girl but of course Nate would have a

03:10actually really tracks for him but what I'm confused about is did Nate have a redemption arc that I missed
03:17he not associate he not a psychopath no more he not like I was just a little confused I don't

03:22if y'all were confused while watching I know I didn't do my rewatch but last time I remembered Nate
03:27is still
03:27a bad person I mean clearly he's a scammer now but I was just very confused even his reaction of

03:34and watching his fiancee do these doggy videos the housekeeper like Wanda can't even do what she needs
03:40to do now when he did that snap like go downstairs I was like no that's the Nate that I

03:46fact that he didn't like spaz out on Cassie like the fact that I've been gone scamming all day scamming
03:53from sun up to sun down to try to help with this raggedy ugly looking house and I'm gonna get

04:00house later because I'm like what in the Elvis Presley is going on okay but I was just confused
04:06him walking in her hers she's trying to explain that she wants to do videos and he was like so

05:33floors so then the math isn't matter for me because obviously you don't have money right
05:37right I just didn't understand that so okay I just knew that Nate was gonna blow a gasket when he
05:44walked in on this but I guess he's okay I guess he he took over his dad's business he's in

05:50Cassie I was confused about that like I knew y'all was hunching but I didn't really really think
05:54that he was like in love with her to be marrying her and then especially with her doing all of
05:58this foolishness and the fact that she's willing to tell the neighbor's wife like yeah I want to do
06:02these pictures and stuff and then she's like sweetheart like girl who's gonna pay pay $50
06:06for that you think Nate's gonna marry you with all of that but I guess he is I'm just very
06:11perplexed
06:12by this I'm sorry like to me Nate is crazy right and I never believed that he was really in

06:19with Cassie I know Cassie would do anything for any man that will show her an ounce of attention
06:23so I understand the Cassie part of this but now he's a scammer Cassie you could do so much better

07:00on this because a lot of times people think because you work in Hollywood that you have this like
07:04proximity to money so then you have money and a lot of people have messaged me like hey girl
07:09like are you doing this full-time did you quit your job hell no I didn't quit my job I
07:13talk to rich
07:14people for a living but that does not make me rich they're rich okay just because I'm in a room

07:20with richness and money that doesn't mean that I have money and I just really I hope that they really
07:25drive that home about showcasing Maddie and Lexi who are both working at Hollywood in different ways
07:31about how baby we live in Cali the rent is high that's why I'm not moving to Cali now Lori

07:38to send me a husband that can afford and I know Nathan ain't got no money okay broke dudes don't

08:28but we see that um you know she tells her neighbor like let me worry about Nate like girl I

08:40beautiful candles and then I see what he eating and I said now girl and maybe this is childhood trauma

08:58dish is not a main dish I grew up in the midwest so y'all understand we do the catfish

10:18I know weddings cost a lot but fifty thousand dollars that's just a lot of money I I was like
10:24I don't even like Nate and I gotta side with Nate on this one okay now here's the part that

10:28like it really like did some to my spirit when she said this she said I didn't wait my entire

11:00but fine so she says that and then she says well maybe we should just have a wedding because baby

11:05you don't have the money that you said you have and I said I was gonna have a good wedding
11:08I said I was gonna go a lot I've been waiting my whole life for this day so if you

11:11money that you say that you have then baby just say that and then we don't have to get married
11:15so Nate he actually loved his girl because he really agreed to her doing the OnlyFans like I thought
11:21he's gonna be like you don't have to do that I'll pay for the flowers but he said no you

12:05seeing your wife her tits on social media like I just that doesn't make sense to me from a character
12:13standpoint I just want to know did Jacob tell y'all that he wasn't going to do this unless you

12:18him a good person if y'all had that conversation fine everybody else doesn't want to play like a
12:23psychopath okay for multiple seasons but maybe if we could have saw how he became a better person got
12:28a voiceover like maybe he went to therapy maybe he found the lord okay maybe the whole stuff with
12:34his daddy just helped him realize he needs to be a better person but I just don't feel like we
12:38got
12:38enough backstory or anything that happened at the end of season two that I don't remember will lead
12:44me to believe that Nate is all of a sudden a good person he's gonna let Cassie first of all
12:48that he's
12:48gonna love Cassie and marry Cassie but also too that they're he gonna let her be our OnlyFans that
12:54just that don't make sense to me that that don't make sense just like her said the ghetto end that
12:58didn't make sense to me either so I just need some answers on that okay okay Sam I just need

13:02answers all right so let me go back to Rue all right so Rue she was telling the truth she

13:29Mexico okay I did like the ride like the wind needle drop so I guess she's trying to get over
13:35the wall and I'm like is that what the wall that they're supposed to be building is that what they
13:38did because if all people had to do was just put the little things up to drive the car up
13:43and go
13:43down I want my money back okay you shouldn't have been doing it in the first place but just give
13:49us
13:49our money back for that because that don't make no sense that don't make absolutely no sense so she
13:54get the car up there and I was actually impressed and then it looked like okay so all you got
13:57to do
13:57is go down I just don't think I could do that I had anxiety the entire time watching this episode
14:01so she tries to like go down but it's not working then she almost fall back and then I just
14:07had to
14:08look away for a moment she gets out of the car okay so she gets her back she gets out
14:12of the car
14:13I thought that the car was gonna run over her foot at first because that's what really had me shook
14:16for the majority of this scene but she ends up getting away and then she crosses over into
14:25uh Texas I did like the score here now I know I'm in solidarity with Labyrinth but I did like
14:32the
14:32score I ain't gonna hold you I'm gonna tell you the truth okay but she gets there and then we
14:37see
14:37that she's like with this little family little house on the prairie family who's obviously like
14:42super right-wing as well just in a different way from Cassie and so basically she told them that she
14:48was
14:48like in college working on the article for the newspaper talking about how the border like all these
14:54illegals are coming into uh America with no I was just like girl I mean it makes sense she understood
15:01her audience of where she was staying I love that shot when she's at the uh breakfast table with them
15:07I just like how it looked like she was in this like almost like a Looney Tunes like play if
15:13it was
15:13like a live action Looney Tunes or something I really love that shot I thought it was super cute um
15:19but yeah so the milk did look like it was good I know the milk was busting my uh brother's
15:25dad
15:25owned a farm and I know that milk was busting Dahlia I know she put she put her big move
15:31into that
15:32that glass of milk okay for so she ends up telling everyone bye the daughter uh takes her to the
15:37greenhouse station I like this conversation that she has with her because you know the girl is like I
15:42wish I can like go see the world and then she was like no I would trade places with you
15:46in a heartbeat
15:47and we see that this has a lasting effect on her but it gets her thinking about religion like what
15:53would happen if she had something like religion to keep her grounded but also too if she had like
15:58you know a family I wonder if she thinks like if her father never passed and she had this family

16:04you know would she be a different person I think that she believes that she would have
16:08and I do agree like even though this this young girl is living this sheltered life I think that
16:13she's also sheltered from the bad that the world can bring in and we've seen that as we saw who
16:19Rue was before drugs and how she is now um so I really did like that whole conversation now we
16:25get
16:25more insight as to why she was actually in Mexico in the first place because Lori came to collect her
16:30coins so Rue was working at a smoke shack and then Lori pops up was like oh hey girl you
16:36remember
16:36that you owe me money hoe and then she was like oh I sure did but girl I ain't got
16:41the 10k for you but I
16:42could probably get in she's like oh you don't owe me 10k I was like oh we uh we forgiving
16:47drug debt
16:48too with the student loans she was like no you don't owe me 10k because you really owe me 43
16:54million
16:54eight hundred and eighty seven thousand dollars and I said now Lori 20% interest rate over 46 months
17:01that really like that 10 grand really went to to 43 million eight hundred and eighty seven thousand
17:10dollars I would have just jumped right then and there because like how I'm gonna pay that back to
17:15you and then she was like well I can sell it for 100k I said now girl that's a good

17:29the apple away that that's just not math and Lori you knew that girl didn't have that dang old money
17:33so this girl became a body what is it body smuggling body snatching body something okay so
17:39she's smuggling drugs from Mexico uh fentanyl from Mexico back to the states for Lori so Lori had to
17:46move in with her cousin after Fez R.I.P. Angus uh got busted by the cops and we find
17:54out that they're
17:55actually keeping him alive for the storyline and I actually think that's like really dope I feel like
17:59it's like a piece of him that's still you know around I love I just I really like that they
18:07kept
18:07him alive like even in the storyline and he's just doing he's doing a bid for 30 years I mean
18:12so he in
18:12jail for the rest of his life basically but um we do find out that Lexi Lexi's not in contact
18:18with him
18:18but Rue is actually in contact with him so because of everything that happened at the end of season two
18:23Lori had to close her business where she was and she moved in with her cousin uh and they're
18:28basically running the drug business together and she was absolutely right they it's some inbreeding
18:33going on yeah yeah absolutely absolutely some inbreeding happening right there I'm just I'm not
18:39even gonna hold you okay um so yeah so we see that she goes over there and she has these
18:47like
18:48bags of drugs that she has to swallow now I didn't know like you can ingest KY jelly I was
18:55just like
18:56y'all is that safe it wasn't that else she can take so she had to put it in the
19:00water I mean it
19:00was very informative you got to put it in the water to make sure that the bag is uh sealed
19:05because you
19:05know if it explodes and you if it gets into your bloodstream like you did like the girl that passed
19:11and they just took the drugs out of her I was like dang you at least send the body back
19:14to the family
19:15something so she's doing all of this that whole sequence and then she got Faye involved in this
19:20craziness the whole sequence of them trying to like stuff this stuff down their throat and them gagging
19:25and then all the spit and stuff I was just like yuck okay I was like I get I get
19:32it I don't know if I
19:33necessarily needed the visual but then we saw all them bags and that girl body I was just like how
19:37you even got space to fit all of that in there okay that was that was a lot so they
19:42go to the border
19:43and then what dude's like hey like did you have a good time and Faye was like no like do
19:48it look like I
19:49had a good time so Rue and Faye are living with Lori I mean they got a whole little operation
19:56the house
19:56looked little but obviously everybody got a place to sleep they running a whole drug lab in the barn
20:02underneath the barn so I guess they got a whole thing going okay now here's the part that really
20:07disrupted my spirit all right and it is back to the spaghetti but in a different way okay
20:13so they was carrying Rue in okay because you got to poop the bags out so they said go get
20:19the
20:20strainer red flag one they picked up the strainer out of the dishwasher they picked up the strainer
20:28out of the dishwasher so that means that strainer that you took so Rue can go poop in the strainer
20:34to strain the poop away from the bags y'all be washing that in the dishwasher with the regular dishes
20:45with the regular dishes so it's feces in the dishwasher with the dishes the plates the forks
20:54the spoons the cups and then to make matters even worse they was making spaghetti and they took the
21:05strainer that room pooped in and they took it and they put the pasta in the strainer
21:12and I don't care if you washed it out I don't care because it shouldn't have been in the dishwasher
21:19with the rest of the dishes that's like people who wash underwear with their regular clothes or
21:27day washcloths and if you and if you wash your underwear with your washcloths and stuff don't
21:35admit that in the comment section because I'm gonna let you know right now I'm gonna judge you because
21:39that's nasty it's nasty so the fact that y'all was eating a spaghetti and Rue up here smelling the
21:46dressing hoe you need to be looking why are you eating feces spaghetti that just didn't make no sense
21:57I mean they just nasty just nasty nasty okay I'm sorry I'm already triggered by their spaghetti in
22:10general okay and then you telling me you doing the spaghetti where Ruby where she be shitting it
22:15don't make no sense okay oh all right so Ruby driving uber too on the side I don't know how
22:23much money she's trying to make with the uber but I'm like girl I mean I guess she doing uber

22:28could be making some she had a little minivan and stuff so she could be making some some decent money
22:32you know maybe I don't know so we do see that when she Lexi does let her go to her
22:40house and she's
22:41like telling her to tea like how Jules told Maddie that she a sugar baby and um you know this

22:48we got like all the backstory her talking to uh Lexi about like hey you should call Fez and then
22:54she was
22:54like she was telling her how she met this Christian family and how it kind of changed her she was
22:58just
22:59like no you can't do that I don't want to be around Christians and she's like what's wrong with
23:03Christians she's like they're judgmental but I said but Lexi you judgmental so do it matter I don't
23:08think like that like that just that didn't make sense to me Lexi because you're just a judgmental
23:14as a Christian so you know I was like whatever all right so she's having a conversation with Ali
23:19it was nice to see Coleman she's having a conversation with Ali and then they talking about
23:23somehow she tells him about this experience and how she wants to like read the bible and she said
23:28she gonna take everything as fact and I said not rue girl you smuggling drugs from Mexico
23:35you eating spaghetti out of the same pasta strainer that you poop in and you're also on drugs so
23:43how you gonna take stuff literal boo you gonna be in for a rude awakening okay because from the moment
23:49that I got saved whoo baby when you realize all the sinning you be doing I just I just had
23:54to be
23:55like lord it's just some stuff that I'm just gonna have to stand about until I get married okay
24:01just a couple of things I'm gonna have to send about but it's a little bit different when you
24:06open your eyes and you start reading the bible all right so Ali so then she's like well how is

26:09of drugs to Alamo okay and so I actually really like seeing like Rue with black people because I just
26:17felt like she wasn't like she'd be around her family black right and I leave black but just
26:21I'm around like regular black people I just really like that interaction for the rest of this episode
26:25so um we see that Bishop is standing real creepy in the garage she acts like hey can I go
26:34use the
26:34bathroom she walked past Marshawn Lynch character I don't know why he had them floaties you got
26:39you this big man with these muscles and stuff and you got the floaties on in the pool I was
26:42just really
26:43confused about that I did like seeing Asante uh black in there as well even though he Dylan dressed
26:49too but I was like you know it's just nice to see see him and stuff um but yeah so

29:42and so he takes her outside he puts the apple on her head he pulls the trigger and she survives
29:47so I
29:47was like okay maybe maybe the lord was looking out I still don't know if he wanted you to pair

29:52somebody to say he the king of the peas but okay fine so I guess for right now the man

29:58in her and that was the end of the episode overall I mean the episode was interesting I really
30:04only care about Ru's storyline to be quite honest with you um we didn't get enough Alexi and Maddie
30:11for me to like really get invested in it and we really didn't get we didn't get anything with Jules
30:16um I'm still very deeply troubled by the whole Nate being a good person thing yeah he's a scammer
30:22but like I just I need can someone let me know that I missed something of the redemption arc for
30:27Nate
30:27because that just doesn't make sense to me and also too I'm not gonna hold y'all I'm so tired
30:33of Sydney Sweeney just being objectified for her body I just like after euphoria I understand that
30:42y'all had to fulfill y'all contracts but after this I I don't want I don't want to see
30:48you be
30:48sexualized unless it just really makes sense for whatever you're in but honestly I just don't want
30:53to see her be it's it's just like it was too much it's just too much for me because I
30:59know this
30:59only the first episode so I'm sure it's gonna get worse and it's just I I'm kind of tired of

31:04but I do like Ru being around some other black people now I didn't want her to be selling drugs
31:09and running hoes and stuff for the other black people but it is nice just to see her around more
31:15blackness so like give me more of that maybe less of the running the hoes but you know whatever you
31:21gotta do girl I understand people got bills to pay and contracts to fulfill but overall for me
31:28the episode's fine it's fine I'm more interested just to see what trouble Ru's gonna get herself
31:33into and what everybody else has been up to but I just hope that the majority of this season isn't
31:38gonna be us looking at Ru and looking at Cassie because Cassie really be arcing my everlasting nerves
31:44and the few nerves that I have left I really don't want to spend them with her getting on them
31:48so I hope that we get to see more of the other characters in the next episode but yeah overall
31:54this episode was fine it was fine beautiful gowns great set design great great production design I
32:00like the needle drops um the little temptations at the end but yeah like overall it was fine
