1.5 Now you can boot either Ubuntu OS or Parrot OS by using BIOS/UEFI Firmware Settings options for Windows Laptop. The BIOS/UEFI Firmware settings can be entered by pressing F1, F2, F6, Del or other appropriate Hot-Key for your computer manufacturer, and re-enable security features (see 1.1.2). Then set ‘Secure boot enabled’, ‘Fast boot disabled’ and ‘UEFI enabled’. Administrative, User and prompt for password on power-on should be kept enabled for security. (optional) Unless you installed Ubuntu and Parrot OS on internal disk, you might have to keep settings that restrict boot to internal computer disk disabled like ‘Natural File Guard’ and ‘Device Guard’. (optional) Unless you installed Ubuntu and Parrot OS on internal disk, you might have to keep ‘USB boot enabled’ and ‘Boot Priority USB/CD/DVD’, having said that in some computers after installation of Linux OS on external drive like USB flash, microSD or external disk, these get treated by BIOS as ‘hard disk’ similar to how it treats internal disks, in which case keeping ‘USB boot enabled’ and ‘Boot Priority USB/CD/DVD’ is not necessary. Now you should be able to boot your Windows Laptop into the 64GB external disk (or internal computer disk), ‘USB Flash Target’ (say 64GB) or ‘External Disk Target’ (say 60GB). For Mac Laptop, ‘Lockdown mode disable’ and just press ‘Option’ key during power-on to boot your Mac Laptop into the 64GB external disk (or internal computer disk), ‘USB Flash Target’ (say 64GB) or ‘External Disk Target’ (say 60GB).
