00:01Kanye West's European tour has run into further trouble over his past anti-Semitic comments as concerts in Poland and
00:08Switzerland have been cancelled.
00:10Previously scheduled concerts by the controversial rapper had earlier been cancelled in the UK and France.
00:17West was due to appear at the Cilician Stadium in Auzov on 19 June, its first performance in Poland for
00:2415 years.
00:25However, the venue announced the concert would not take place due to formal and legal reasons, a decision that came
00:33after Poland's culture minister cited the sensitivity of West performing in a nation, quote, scarred by the history of the
00:41Holocaust.
00:41On Saturday, Swiss football club FC Barcel, which is responsible for concerts and events at its St. Jakob Park ground,
00:50said it decided against West after reviewing a request for the American rapper to perform there in June.
00:57The latest cancellations followed that of the UK government, barring West's entry to the country and the subsequent cancellation of
01:05this year's Wireless Festival, as well as West Orange Velodrome Marseille gig being postponed in France.
01:12Following France's decision to postpone his gig, West wrote on X, quote,
01:16I know it takes time to understand the sincerity of my commitment to make amends.
01:21I take full responsibility for what's mine, but I don't want to put my fans in the middle of it.
01:27The only remaining stops in West's announced European tour are now Turkey, the Netherlands, Italy, Madrid and Portugal.
01:35But considering the recent waves of cancellations, there is speculation that the European leg of the tour could end up
01:42being scrapped altogether.
