The awards ceremony for the first edition of the Moto Europa Award took place today at Motodays 2026, the two-wheeled event organized by Fiera Roma. This award, promoted by UIGA (Italian Union of Automotive Journalists), recognizes the most interesting motorcycle for the European Union market.

The prize was awarded during the 14th edition of Motodays, the leading event for the two-wheeled world in Central and Southern Italy, which officially opened the motorcycle season with three days of events, dynamic tests, meetings, and activities dedicated to motorcycling passion.

The winner of the Moto Europa Award 2026 was the Ducati Multistrada V4, beating out the other finalists: the Aprilia Tuono 457, BMW R 1300 GS, Royal Enfield Bera 650, and Yamaha R9.
The 2026 European Motorcycle Award was decided through a combined voting system that combined the opinions of enthusiasts, expressed online and at the show, with those of a jury composed of UIGA members and specialized motorcycle journalists. This voting method highlighted both technical expertise and the perspective of end users, offering a snapshot of the competition as closely as possible to market trends.

The five finalist motorcycles, exhibited in the UIGA space at the event, represented some of the most significant developments in the European motorcycle scene, selected for their technological innovation, technical content, market positioning, and ability to address the evolving needs of two-wheeled mobility.
