We're putting the Samsung Galaxy S26's new Super Steady Mode to the ultimate test! This video demonstrates the incredible horizontal lock feature that keeps footage perfectly stable, even when running or rotating the phone 360 degrees. Could this innovation make phone gimbals obsolete?

00:00Phone campus might become obsolete really soon thanks to a new super steady mode found on the
00:05new Galaxy S26 lineup. So in the camera app under stabilization we have three different modes on
00:11super steady on and then super steady with horizontal lock on. When I start recording a
00:17video I can rotate the phone as much as I want. I can even go 360 degrees and look at
00:23that
00:23perfectly locked on and I'll show you what that looks like right now. You couldn't even tell it
00:28was spinning but check this out we're gonna run with it and I'm gonna look crazy right now but
00:32let's see how this performs. I just probably ruined three people's shots right there so I'd say that's
00:42pretty good but kind of like I was expecting especially with other forms of electronic
00:46stabilization it can get a little bit wonky with different lighting and it's kind of a low light
00:51environment in here so this is gonna make it struggle a little bit more. I'd be really interested
00:55to see how this compares to other cameras like the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 or maybe even other action
00:59cameras but let me know what you think is this the future of stabilization?
