Mabel is 19, loves animals, and apparently thought, “Why not put herself in a robotic beaver?” That decision turns her into something between a walking animal riddle and a very determined protest sign. With her consciousness inside the beaver tech, she starts uncovering mysteries about the animal world that her human brain never even suspected existed.
But this isn’t a calm nature-spotting situation. Mabel doesn’t play by the rules. She disrupts the whole idea of the “natural order,” and it doesn’t stay quiet for long. The result? A full-on animal uprising, kicked off because she’s trying to save the pond.
It’s quirky, oddly heartfelt, and always one step away from being ridiculous. If you want your eco-fantasy with a wink and teeth, you’ll probably have a good time.

Mabel ist erst 19 und viel zu sehr Team „Tiere zuerst“. Also macht sie das, was man normalerweise nicht macht: Sie nutzt Technik, um ihr Bewusstsein in einen Roboter-Biber zu packen. Plötzlich riecht man Geheimnisse, die man als Mensch nie mitbekommt. Nur will Mabel nicht nur herumschauen. Sie stellt die ganze „natürliche Ordnung“ auf den Kopf, ignoriert fein säuberlich Regeln und kippt damit ziemlich schnell das Gleichgewicht im Teich.
Das Ganze hat den Charme einer Tierdoku mit Trotz-Antrieb. Ein tierischer Aufstand inklusive, weil Mabel den Teich retten will, koste es, was es wolle. Süß, frech und ein bisschen albern. Genau die Sorte Film, die man liebt, wenn man dem Ernst nicht zu viel Platz gibt.
