00:00So we're talking Minnesota and Denver.
00:01You know, all the attention, obviously, with Anthony Edwards,
00:04Jaden McDaniels as well, lower leg injuries for both.
00:08Kept them out most of this past month.
00:10Also, you got to worry about Aaron Gordon.
00:11Maybe not so much this series, although, you know, listen,
00:14Minnesota's not going to be any pushover, but he only started 33 games.
00:18He missed a good portion, obviously, of the season.
00:20If Denver really wants to challenge for an NBA championship,
00:23they have to have him completely healthy.
00:25You know, talk about player props.
00:27I know the numbers are going to be high.
00:29They are for the Joker, Tom, right?
00:31But he averaged 35 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists in the games he played
00:37against Minnesota this year.
00:38He averaged well over a triple-double.
00:41In the postseason, he's had 94 career postseason games.
00:44He averages over 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 7.5 assists.
00:50So his triple points, rebounds, assists, they're probably going to be those numbers
00:55around 50.
00:56I remember that last year.
00:58But he does get them, especially against this Minnesota team.
01:02Yeah, he's sitting at 51.5 today.
01:04Edwards is sitting at 35.5.
01:06So, like, you're paying a premium for both of those players.
01:09It really comes down to, if Anthony Edwards is healthy, can Minnesota stay inside this
01:15number, you know, of the 6.5 that they're getting in game one?
01:18And if he's not healthy, Scott, who would be that other player to step up, even if he's
01:23playing a full, but he's just not 100%, he's not effective?
01:26To me, you know, Randall's sitting at 31.5.
01:28It is juiced to the over at minus 120.
01:30This is first PRA points, rebounds, and assists.
01:32And Dante DiVincenzo is sitting at 18.5.
01:35Those are the other players I would look to.
01:37And I would want some type of extra confirmation pregame about Edwards' status if there's some
01:44report that he's good to go, whatever it may be.
01:46But, Scott, for this series, again, it's five and a half total games.
01:50I'm looking to the over at minus 135.
01:52I will say Minnesota, eighth in defensive efficiency.
01:55They have a real shot to take down the Nuggets, but the series is going to go long.
02:00I will say I do prefer the Nuggets bench that they could potentially bring compared to Minnesota.
02:06Yeah.
02:07I'll say this.
02:08If Randall doesn't hit his numbers that PRA, then they're not going to win.
02:14You know, Edwards can get his, you know, his 30-plus points and everything.
02:18And there might be a game where he goes from 45, 50 and carries them to a win.
02:22But as far as really extending the series and winning the series, if Randall doesn't step up,
02:27and that's been his MO, we know that Nick fans know that, and everybody else knows that, right?
02:31But he's got to hit that 31-and-a.
02:33He just has to.
02:34It's not really that many.
02:35You've got to get 25 points and 8, 9, 10 rebounds and a couple assists out of him.
02:39You just have to if you want to, you know, beat this Nuggets team.
02:42Right.
02:43Like, he needs to be the Robin to Anthony Edwards' Batman.
02:46Like, Edwards needs a running mate because, again, what Denver has with Murray and Jokic,
02:52but like I said, the Tim Hardaway-Bruce Brown combo coming off the bench can provide a nice punch of
02:57scoring.
02:58You know, it's going to be maybe inconsistent at times, but if they get that scoring going off the bench,
03:01that's where Randall is going to need to go for 30-plus combined every game.
