00:00The British royal family just dropped a brand new popularity poll, and the new number one
00:06isn't Prince William. It's not Princess Catherine. It's someone who's not even alive.
00:13Who just took the crown as Britain's most loved royal? Stick around, because the results are
00:19shocking. According to the latest YouGov poll released just today, ahead of what would have
00:26been Queen Elizabeth II's 100th birthday, the late Queen is sitting comfortably at the very top with a
00:33massive 81% approval rating. Even three and a half years after her passing, Her Majesty is still more
00:41popular than any living royal. Britain is clearly living on pure nostalgia right now. Coming in hot
00:49at number two? None other than the people's princess, Princess Diana, with 77%. Almost 29 years after that
00:59tragic Paris car crash, Diana's magic is still working on the British public. Prince William lands in third
01:07place with 76%, and his wife Princess Catherine, the Princess of Wales, is right behind him at 75%.
01:15They used to be the clear favorites among living royals, but now even they've been bumped down by two icons
01:22who are no longer with us. Fifth place goes to the hardworking Princess Anne at 70%. Then we have King
01:30Charles at 60%, which is decent, but nowhere near the top. And now for the tougher numbers. Prince Harry has
01:40dropped to a painful 30%, his lowest ever. Meghan Markle is sitting at just 20%, also an all-time low.
01:50And at the very bottom, with a shocking 3% approval? Prince Andrew. Ouch. So what does this all mean?
02:00The British public is clearly longing for the golden eras of the past, the stability of the Queen,
02:07and the warmth of Diana. While William and Catherine are still hugely popular, the living royals are
02:15feeling the pressure as scandals and drama continue to swirl around the family. Which royals surprised
02:22you the most in this poll? Drop your thoughts in the comments. I read every single one.
02:27Thanks for watching. See you in the next one.
