12:17sadly our marriage broke down which was absolutely devastating because um he was my best friend and
12:24he was the only person that knew that i was like that i was gay i had to rebuild myself
12:31and for the
12:32last six years that's what i've been doing and i'm so proud of what i've become you're looking for
12:38like the marriage the whole thing yes i want to get married for the real reasons now yeah because we
12:43deserve to be happy right say we were together okay and i spent hours getting dressed up in some

14:57i told i was gay i started getting better and i in my heart knew that sydney was going to

15:02so yeah i went there and it really grew me up so i properly emigrated at 21 and
15:07had my whole 20s there you know like i have actually have a rose tattooed over my heart to
15:13remind myself self-love to look after myself but actually have an empty heart right behind it
15:18that i want my wife's initials in just to be like she's got my back so i think that's really

35:08the kids left home i did not appreciate how that was going to make me feel that first christmas of

35:20their stockings so yeah that was a lot the end of the day when you've had a bit of a

35:28you go home and you turn the key and it's like there's no one to tell that's what i miss

35:42kind of think well i go to work and i come home and i'm not too sure what else i'd

37:32one i need to invest in i did the mental health first aid training no way because i've got lived
37:38experience with mental health and well-being when i was trying to develop in my career i was really
37:45pushing and pushing and the whole time i'd not been okay i think when i started pushing at work
37:51just tipped me over the edge and i ended up getting signed off and it was in that moment where
37:57i had
37:58nothing left on the outside i would look like everything's fine and so i understand the dangers
38:06of that because i had high functioning depression okay but i couldn't understand what was wrong so i
38:13couldn't deal with it my dad had mental health issues also and we didn't talk about it and i feel
38:22like
38:22having gone through it myself how lonely that must have been i kind of just thought i need to fix
38:29me and
38:29then it just work it's like i had to go to therapy and then i just started talking i do
38:36need someone
38:36that is willing to talk to me and i want them to know that i understand that it's not always
38:43going
38:44to be okay you're saying all the stuff that i think and feel but you say it in a way
38:48more composed
38:49like i feel like i'm waffling on it no keep it going it's all good it's refreshing to speak to
38:56someone that is into communicating because it's hard to find people that want to be connected now
39:05that's what i'm finding it's all about connection you look stunning by the way i haven't meant i don't
39:11know if i mentioned it at the bar he doesn't ask me enough questions did he say how beautiful you
