David Moyes hopes that Everton can maintain their European push with a win over rivals Liverpool
Transcript
00:00I don't watch Liverpool's results really and I don't really take an awful lot to do with it.
00:04I look after Everton, so my job is to see that we try and do as well as we can.
00:10We had a good point at Brentford, considering where they are and know them in a similar position as us.
00:16We had a good home win before that, so I can only focus on us and hopefully that we can
00:21keep it going.
00:22As I said, we've got six games in the Premier League to go and we're in with a shout,
00:25so hopefully we'll be able to keep that going, certainly up to the last few games.
00:30All we can do is try and catch whoever's above us and I think Brentford are the ones who are
00:33above us at the moment.
00:34They're first in it, so we've got to attempt to try and get whoever we can.
00:40But probably more importantly is to make sure that we don't let them to catch us
00:43because if we stay in a strong position then we'll give ourselves every chance of maybe getting something regarding Europe.
00:51Maybe not, but we've got to try and make sure we fend off all the other teams as well.
