00:00When Allah wants you to get something, to achieve something, or to give you something,
00:06nobody can stop it.
00:08Even if the whole world is trying to block you from achieving something,
00:14they won't be able to do it.
00:16وَعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْأُمَّةَ لَوِ اجْتَمَعَتْ عَلَىٰ أَنْ يَنْفَعُوكَ بِشَيْءٍ
00:21لَمْ يَنْفَعُوكَ إِلَّا بِمَا قَدْ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ لَكَ
00:24If the whole nation gets together,
00:29to benefit you, they won't be able to benefit you except with that which Allah has written for you.
00:34And the opposite also is in the same hadith.
00:37The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is telling us that if the entire ummah, the whole nation gets together to harm you,
00:44they will never be able to inflict any harm upon you unless Allah has written it against you.
00:51If Allah has written it against you, you need to know nothing is going to stop it.
00:56May Allah protect us all.
00:57Look at this man, young baby, born, Fir'aun, looking, searching, his men were everywhere.
01:04They were spies all over.
01:06They didn't hear, they didn't witness, they didn't see.
01:09And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala inspired his mother to do something unique,
01:15to put him into a little casket or a basket and to put him or literally to cast him into
01:21the Nile,
01:21into the river, cast him into the river.
01:23How can I do that?
01:24Don't worry.
01:25The one who made him will look after him.
01:28Subhanallah.

01:31Allah says,
01:33Alqihi fil yammi wala ta khafi wala tahzani inna raddu ilayki waja'iluhu minal mursaleen.
01:48Instruction from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
01:51Inspiration from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
01:53Take him and place him in the water, in the river.
01:58Allah will return him to you.
02:01Allah says, we will return him to you.
02:04Subhanallah.
02:05And we will make him from amongst those who is sent.
02:08We will make him a messenger.
02:09He's going to have something big.
02:11Subhanallah.
02:12And what happened?
02:13Allah did not bless the Pharaoh with children.
02:15They were looking for this male child.
02:18And the wife, as she was walking, she notices this little casket and she picks up this baby.
02:23And the baby was absolutely gorgeous, absolutely innocent, totally.
02:28And cut a long story short, they looked after Musa alayhi salatu was salam until he grew quite old.
02:34He was not suckling from anyone because that was the plan of Allah.
02:38And they were desperate to get him to suckle because he needed to survive until subhanallah.
02:46Subhanallah.
02:46Amazingly Allah returned the baby as a baby, as an infant to the mother.
02:52He would be brought in the highest form of luxury.
02:56He would be brought to the mother.
02:59The mother would suckle, spend some time, etc., etc.
03:02Look after him, breastfeed him, whatever else, and send him back.
03:06And he suckled from no one else.
03:07This is the power of Allah.
03:09Never underestimate the power of Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala.
03:12When he wants to give you, he will give you.
03:15Pray to him.
03:15Pray hard.
03:16Pray with conviction.
03:17When the time is right, what you want will come to you.
03:20Remember that.
03:21If it is good for you, and if it is meant for you, it's in coming in your direction.
03:25If it is not, no matter what, it won't.
03:28So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
03:30فَرَدَدْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ أُمِّهِ كَيْتَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنُ
03:38We returned him to his mother in order for her eyes to be cooled and for her not to be
03:45saddened.
03:46She was a good woman.
03:48She was close to Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala.
03:50She was chosen to be the mother of a messenger of Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala.
03:54Imagine what qualities she had.
03:56I always tell the sisters and even the brothers that if you want a child who's going to be someone
04:02serving the deen,
04:03ask yourself, who am I to start with?
04:05Who am I to start with?
04:06If I'm a person who wants to follow the trends of today and I have my little heels and my
04:11makeup and my miniskirt
04:12and I'm walking around with a little handbag, throwing things behind my back like this,
04:17do you want a child who's going to really be some form of, you know, service to the deen?
04:22The same applies to the brothers.
04:23Every night you're in the club, you know, jumping and dancing and drinking and everything else and womenizing
04:27and all of those nature of things, you know, that type of thing.
04:32And then you say, Oh Allah, make my child a big, you know, sheikh who's going to be spreading the
04:37deen.
04:39Subhanallah, subhanallah.
04:40Your sheikh is in the night club.
04:42That's what it is.
04:43And you want your child to be the sheikh, spreading the deen.
04:47You know, Allah can do it.
04:49But you need to repent, you need to turn back.
04:52It's never too late.
04:53My brothers and sisters, we turn to Allah, we turn to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
04:57It's not too late.
04:58We're breathing.
04:59Take a look at the world.
05:00Learn by looking at the globe.
05:02Watch the people.
05:04See the most content people are not those who run behind materialistic items.
05:09Remember that.
05:10Wallahi, I promise you.
05:12Yes, you might look at glamour.
05:14You might look at popularity.
05:15You might look at someone who the world looks at as, wow, a superhero.
05:19Someone who's a movie star.
05:21In real life, they are depressed.
05:24They are struggling.
05:25They have addiction sometimes to various things, even drugs.
05:29They suffer with problems.
05:32They are bipolar.
05:33Look at so many of these pop stars popping one after the other.
05:36Pop, pop, pop, pop.
05:37Have you seen that?
05:38That's why they're called pop stars.
05:40May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala help us.
05:43My brothers and sisters, we need to serve the ummah.
05:46We need to have a concern for the next generations.
05:49We need to serve Allah so that at least in our progeny, when they watch us,
05:54do you know the most powerful way of relaying the message is for them to follow by example.
05:59When you are fulfilling salah, when you dress in a specific way,
06:02your child who cannot yet speak in your language,
06:05who cannot yet communicate properly in your own system,
06:08will fight to dress the way you dress,
06:11just because that is the plan of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
06:15If you fulfill your salah constantly,
06:17your child will be found in sujood before they can even walk.
06:21Do you know that?
06:22Why?
06:22Did you talk to them?
06:23No.
06:24It was Allah's way of telling you,
06:25If you look, if you are good, inshallah, by the will of Allah,
06:28they will have a good upbringing.
06:31What they do beyond a certain age becomes between them and Allah.
06:35Once you arrive at a certain point, it's now your life.
06:38I looked after my children up to a certain age.
06:40An example, just an example.
06:42I'm not talking about myself, but I'm saying,
06:43If I look after my children up to a certain age,
06:47beyond that, if they end up dwindling left and right,
06:50I can always say,
06:51Ya Allah, I offered them the best.
06:53I still make dua for them.
06:54I will still guide them.
06:55But now they are independent.
06:57They are doing things.
06:57It's up to them now.
06:59It's between you and them.
07:00Ya Allah, guide them.
07:01Subhanallah.
07:02I can try when I say I can guide them
07:04and Allah guides them.
07:05Two different types of guidance.
07:07One is al-dalala wal-irshad.
07:09One is to show them the way.
07:10I can show them the way to say,
07:11Look, this is the way.
07:12But a tawfiq is from Allah.
07:15The guidance in the sense that
07:16to bring them onto the path is from Allah.
07:20May Allah bring our children on the path.
07:21And before that,
07:22may Allah bring us on the path
07:23and keep us steadfast.
07:24Remember, when you follow your faith,
07:26considering it an honor to follow your faith,
07:28that is when you have achieved something.
07:31But when you follow your faith,
07:32considering it a burden,
07:34yes, you may be following,
07:35but you will not achieve
07:37the true benefit of the entire package.
07:39People fulfill salah.
07:41When you fulfill salah,
07:42you're lazy to do it.
07:43You're just doing it because,
07:44Hey, you know what?
07:44I'm scared.
07:45I don't want to be punished.
07:46Okay, fair enough.
07:47Your salah may be done.
07:48But if you want to achieve
07:50the broader benefits
07:52of that beautiful salah,
07:54do it as an honor.
07:55Oh Allah, I love you.
07:56I'm going to fulfill the salah
07:58because I want to do it for your sake.
08:01You've given me so much,
08:02Ya Allah.
08:03Amazing.
08:04My brothers and sisters,
08:05getting back to the Pharaoh,
08:06Musa alayhi salatu wassalam
08:08brought up in this home,
08:10going back to his mother.
08:12I want to draw another lesson for us all.
08:15Sometimes we are separated
08:16from our loved ones.
08:18Agree?
08:19Whether it's your child after a divorce,
08:21whether it is someone prior to divorce,
08:23maybe your husband had to go
08:25and work somewhere,
08:25maybe you had to go somewhere,
08:27maybe something happened,
08:28you were separated for some reason.
08:30Sometimes the separation is caused
08:32by a third party intentionally.
08:34The story of Musa alayhi salatu wassalam,
08:37the lessons,
08:37the ayat,
08:38the lessons we learn,
08:40it consoles those
08:42who are separated
08:43from their loved ones saying,
08:51We will definitely return him to you.
08:54If Musa alayhi salam's mother
08:56was told that by Allah,
08:58I'm sure Allah can return to us,
09:00our loved ones.
09:00May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
09:02unite us with our loved ones.
09:04Sometimes we are separated through death.
09:07Do you know that?
09:07Death has separated me
09:08from my loved one,
09:09for example.
09:10Or a child or a parent
09:12or a brother,
09:13sibling,
09:13someone you really care for,
09:15you really love.
09:15Don't worry.
09:27Allah speaks about how
09:29He will allow your family members
09:32to join you in the hereafter
09:34on condition that you all believed.
09:38On condition that you all believed.
09:41You need to try to earn
09:42the pleasure of Allah.
09:44You did it.
09:46Your children did it.
09:47You tried your best.
09:48Allah says,
09:48We will gather you together.
09:49Don't worry.
09:50You're going to be united.
09:51When you lose a loved one
09:53through death,
09:54it's not the end of the path.
09:55By the will of Allah,
09:57you will meet them again
09:57very soon.
09:58A matter of time.
10:00May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
10:02grant that to us
10:03and may we meet them
10:05in a better place,
10:07not in a worse place.
10:08May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
10:10forgive us.
