Raquel Laguna/ SUCOPRESS. Beverly Hills blended elegance and purpose as the 37th Annual Colleagues Spring Luncheon and Oscar de la Renta Fashion Show brought together philanthropy, fashion, and community impact at the iconic Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Celebrating its 76th anniversary, The Colleagues once again demonstrated why it remains a cornerstone of charitable work in Los Angeles. Since its founding in 1950, the organization has raised more than $40 million to support vulnerable children, with this year’s event continuing that legacy in style. At the heart of the afternoon was the presentation of the Champion of Children Award to hockey legend Luc Robitaille and philanthropist Stacia Robitaille. The couple was recognized for their work with the Echoes of Hope Foundation, which has helped thousands of foster and at-risk youth access education, mentorship, and long-term support systems. Their ongoing commitment to improving lives in Los Angeles stood as a defining moment of the event. Guiding the afternoon with humor and warmth was Kate Flannery, best known for The Office, whose hosting duties kept the tone lively while underscoring the cause at the center of the gathering. Fashion played a starring role as Oscar de la Renta unveiled its Fall 2026 collection, transforming the luncheon into a refined runway experience. The presentation seamlessly merged couture with charity, reinforcing the event’s unique position at the intersection of high fashion and humanitarian impact. The event also featured the presentation of the inaugural Nancy Reagan Oscar de la Renta Scholarship Award to a deserving college student. Selected from more than 16,000 applicants, the recipient is being honored through the Reagan Library in recognition of Nancy Reagan’s longstanding friendship with Oscar de la Renta, who designed several of her White House gowns.
