00:00And how are you doing?
00:02Oh, you mean my flight plans.
00:04My performance art piece.
00:07It's been a doozy.
00:09I'm grateful to be something of a marathon man.
00:16And the good news is I have managed to catch three flights since that last one.
00:24I do seem to show up on time, hit those marks.
00:29Despite it all.
00:31But yeah, it's a kooky moment, you know.
00:34Kooky time.
00:36Do you feel like a real survivor?
00:38I mean, you have had some luck yet.
00:40Not really.
00:41I mean, I think it's a, you know, I do love jokes.
00:45They're my own personal gods.
00:48Being doubled over laughing.
00:51That's the older state I'm most into, I would say.
00:56I don't know.
00:57I don't know that it's been as wild a ride as anybody else.
00:59I look down and see my own two feet and sort of assume I'm right where I'm meant to be.
01:04And I'm actually pretty bowled over and humbled by, you know, my gifts and friendships and to be a real
01:13New Yorker.
01:14And I don't know, we're living in wild times.
01:18Yeah.
01:18Well, I don't know.
01:19We're all doing our best.
01:20Talking about Planned Parenthood, it does feel weird that it's become almost like a radical organization when it's just healthcare.
01:28Yeah, I mean, as somebody who's been around for a second, you know, I recently turned 3,000.
01:35It's even funny just the way kind of social media and stuff works.
01:42Like, there wasn't a big announcement for the Planned Parenthood fun event that we were going to do and pink
01:47and all the general excitement that's around it.
01:50It's almost like it was an undercover affair.
01:54And by golly, is that weird, you know, because we're each of us human beings.
01:59And I mean, this impacts all of us.
02:04I do think it's always struck me as wild that anyone thinks that they should have the right to give
02:12another human being rights.
02:13Like, whenever we talk about something like, I know it's not the topic, but gay marriage.
02:18Who ever thought it was their right to decide if somebody else could get married?
02:23I'm not sure who died and made so-and-so the boss of somebody else.
02:27But it seems to me that each individual should be allowed, to quote Tracee Ellis Ross, the dignity of their
02:38experience.
