00:13government because of their wage freeze policy that essentially suppressed wages for over a
00:20decade in New South Wales for our frontline workers. Today's announcement is a great thing
00:26for the nurses and midwives possible because we put in place an independent umpire to work through
00:33the issues that we were having between the government and the nurses. We had nurses moving
00:38across the border, fleeing across the border because we'd had in place a decade of wage suppression
00:44in New South Wales. To address that, we removed the wages cap and we put in place the IRC. Today
00:52we
00:52get an outcome that really reverses what was happening before we came into office.
