Transcript
00:00I'm Sam the Trap Man. I'm a hunter, I'm a fisher, I'm a trapper. I just love
00:08getting out amongst it. The bush looks after us so I reckon it's my job to look
00:14after the bush too. I come from Gisborne. We have been absolutely clobbered by
00:21severe weather events over the last couple of years. It really hit home that
00:26if we don't figure out a market drive, a financial mechanisms to get the diverse
00:32native forests back on our hills, our region and our people are in real trouble.
00:45I'm not alone. All over Aotearoa people are already working to recloak Papatuanuku.
00:52I'm going to meet some of them and hear about their work.
00:56We're going to explore how we can restore, regenerate and protect diverse
01:00native forests at scale and why this is so important and urgent right now.
