00:00Everyone knows the stories about Jaws, but no one knows the stories about Jaws the Revenge, until now.
00:07You know, you have to accept that since crazy things happen, then something like this could happen.
00:12When it gets to anything that large and mechanical underwater, you're going to have some issues.
00:18Sharknado wouldn't exist without Jaws.
00:20People are honestly saying Jaws the Revenge is also a great film. I'm not the only one out there that's
00:26crazy.
00:27Here we are, 40 years later, Jaws the Revenge is coming back, and we're looking at it under a microscope.
00:35And so all the problems they had on the first movie, we had on this one.
00:40Just like dinosaurs roar, and I don't know what a shark roar would sound like. Couldn't sound like a dolphin.
00:45Michael Caine saved my life. I feel this hand grab my shirt. Get out of this butt!
00:50And he pulls me out.
00:51To have them actually do that and get everybody together to reshoot an ending so that your character lives, it's
00:58quite flattering, I mean, really.
01:01We were not able to fix that ending in the post.
01:04Even though Jaws the Revenge did become a punchline, I was still proud of what I did in underwater filming.
01:10What I'm looking to accomplish with this documentary is that I just want to see how many other fans there
01:17are out there.
01:18Jaws the Revenge, not a perfect movie, but it's entertaining and it's grown and it has a life of its
01:25own.
01:25So it stands on its own.
01:27Whatever flaws and all, it is part of franchise history and it deserves to be spotlighted.
01:33Hey kids, it's me, Kevin Smith, and you're watching The Shark That Roared, celebrating 40 years of Jaws the Revenge,
01:41man.
01:41Can you believe it?
01:42Four decades into Jaws the Revenge.
01:45This time is really personal.
01:46I can't believe it.
