Russia hits Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipro in one of deadliest attacks on Ukraine

Russia unleashed a massive drone and missile barrage on major cities across Ukraine, killing at least 16 and injuring scores, as Zelenskyy urged more support from allies.

00:01Russia launched a wave of missiles and drones at Ukraine overnight, targeting several cities, including Kyiv, Dnipro and Odessa.
00:10In Kyiv, the attack killed at least five people, including a child. Dozens of others were injured.

00:43Fires broke out in several residential neighborhoods. Local authorities reported two people had been killed and dozens injured.
00:52And several explosions were reported in Odessa, where seven people were killed and at least 11 injured.
00:59According to the Kyiv Independent, last night's Russian attack was one of the deadliest on Ukrainian civilians this year.
01:06Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces attacked Russia's Stropseport, which is home to a major oil export terminal and refinery.
