00:00People should go about their lives as normal. If there are changes to that, we will be up front with
00:05the British public.
00:06But for now, go about life as normal and take confidence in the fact that you have a government that
00:13is being well led from the Prime Minister down,
00:15looking at different scenarios and taking lots of contingency measures, acting where we should be,
00:21but also being very mindful of what may or may not occur into the future and taking the steps we
00:28need to be fully prepared.
00:31I'm very aware that Boris Johnson missed five COBRA meetings in the lead up to COVID.
00:36I can reassure people that is not the case with this Prime Minister.
00:39He has been a present, active, powerful force, driving government to understand all the different scenarios that may or may
00:47not emerge into the future
00:49and to make sure that we as a country are as prepared as possible.
00:52We have high growth figures going into this. We have beat the forecasts and we are determined to be a
00:58resilient country,
00:59but also a country that comes out of this, rebounding, facing the future and beating the forecasts again.
