"Tanks Attack!" is a 1940 Nazi propaganda film produced in the context of the French Campaign. It documents the actions of General Guderian's XIX Panzer Corps and was used at the time as propaganda for the so-called "Western Campaign."

The film is not a neutral documentary, but is clearly made for propaganda purposes. This is reflected in the following:
A glorifying portrayal of the Wehrmacht
Dramatic music and editing
Commentary with clearly evaluative and propagandistic rhetoric
Goal: To strengthen morale and justify the war.

Among the units participating were, in particular:
Panzer Division (Lieutenant General Kirchner)
Panzer Division (Lieutenant General Veyel)
Panzer Division (Lieutenant General Schaal)
Under the command of General of the Panzer Troops Heinz Guderian.

The film was created within the context of Nazi war propaganda and served as a political dramatization of wartime events. It is being published solely for the purposes of historical documentation and contextualization.
