A Federal Court has dismissed former US Marine Corp pilot Dan Duggan's bid to avoid extradition from Australia.

00:01U.S. authorities sought the extradition after accusing Mr. Duggan of breaching arms trafficking laws by training Chinese pilots in
00:09how to take off from and land on an aircraft carrier at a South African flight school in 2012.
00:16Mr. Duggan was arrested in 2022 after Australia agreed to the extradition.
00:21Last year he launched an application for a judicial review. Today the Federal Court dismissed that application.
00:27Mr. Duggan's lawyers and wife say they're considering other options for an appeal but say the Prime Minister should intervene.
